Congratulations and Jubilations
Lucky 12-year-old receives a Harley-Davidson in Faak
- First prize at the Dresden Harley Days went to a Swabian student
- Ceremonial handover of the Street 750 at the European Bike Week in Faak
(Neu-Isenburg, 21.09.2017) There was a leap in the air and tears of joy, 12-year-old Sebastian Resanovic couldn't believe it: He had actually won a Harley-Davidson Street 750. The young boy from Kaisheim was at the Dresden Harley Days with his parents and his father Willi had bought three tickets - literally at the last minute and just before Lady Luck drew the winning ticket. Slowly, very slowly, number by number, the winning number rang out from the stage loudspeakers.

And indeed, it was exactly the one that Sebastian was able to read off his ticket. The high school student will remember the moments on the open-air stage, the applause from the event visitors and the incredulous and amazed comments from his classmates for a long time to come.
He will also remember the ceremonial handover of the bike at the European Bike Week in Faak. Thomas Bandemer from Harley-Davidson Germany and Austria presented the young winner with the key to motorcycle happiness - and Sebastian is already looking forward to his 18th birthday.
„A lot of my classmates are into sports bikes,“ grins the future biker, „but I just think a Harley is much cooler.“ What he is particularly looking forward to: the tours, the festivals and the friendship he has experienced time and again among fans of the US V-twins - after all, his parents are also enthusiastic Harley riders.
Sebastian still has to wait five years and a few months before he can take off on his Street. Until then, as a future Harley biker, he wants to carry out a few customizing measures on the bike: The Number One Skull logo has to go on the side covers, a sissy bar has to go on it and red ignition cables. „My dream is to pick up my school-leaving certificate on the Harley!“ reveals Sebastian. Nothing should stand in the way of that.
