Congratulations and Jubilations
Lucky 12-year-old receives a Harley-Davidson in Faak
• Main prize at the Dresden Harley Days went to a Swabian student
• Ceremonial handover of the Street 750 at the European Bike Week in Faak
(Neu-Isenburg, September 21, 2017) There was a jump in the air and tears of joy, 12-year-old Sebastian Resanovic couldn't believe it: he had actually won a Harley-Davidson Street 750. The young Kaisheimer was at the Dresden Harley Days with his parents and his father Willi had bought three tickets - literally at the last minute and shortly before the lucky fairy drew the winning ticket. Slowly, very slowly, number by number, the winning number sounded from the stage speakers.
And actually, it was exactly the one that Sebastian could read from his fate. The high school student will remember the moments on the open-air stage, the applause of the event visitors and the incredulous and astonished comments of his classmates for a long time.
He will also remember the ceremonial handover of the machine at the European Bike Week in Faak. Thomas Bandemer from Harley-Davidson Germany and Austria presented the young winner with the key to motorcycle happiness - and Sebastian is already looking forward to his 18th birthday.
“Many of my classmates are interested in sports machines,” grins the future biker, “but I just think a Harley is much cooler.” What he is particularly looking forward to: the tours, the festivals and the friendship he has built among the fans of the US-V -Twins has experienced again and again - after all, his parents are also enthusiastic Harley riders.
Sebastian still has to be patient for five years and a few months before he can get started on his street. Until then, he – a very future Harley biker – wants to carry out a few customizing measures on the machine: The Number One Skull logo has to be on the side covers, there has to be a sissy bar and red ignition cables. “My dream is to pick up my high school diploma on my Harley!” reveals Sebastian. Nothing should stand in the way of that.
