News about the major Hamburg event in 2023 

FRANKFURT (03.04.2023) – Harley-Davidson wird 120 – und feiert den runden Geburtstag natürlich auch in Hamburg! From May 19 to 21, 2023, the Hamburg Harley Days. The event itself is also celebrating an anniversary: 20 years ago, a mega motorcycle party was held for the first time in the Hanseatic city to mark the 100th birthday of Harley-Davidson. 

Daher dürfen sich alle Fans der Marke auf einen ganz besonderen Event rund um den Großmarkt freuen. Hier entsteht ein riesiges Harley Village mit einer Vielzahl von Caterern sowie einem erweiterten Shoppingbereich mit zahlreichen Händlerständen, an denen jede Menge Zubehör und Bekleidung angeboten wird. Im Village ist auch die 120 Years Exhibition von Harley-Davidson which offers fascinating insights into twelve decades of motorcycle production.  

Where Harley-Davidson If it's written on it, there's always a huge portion of good music inside: A large main stage will once again be set up in the heart of the event area, where strong bands will rock out every day. On Friday evening, the stage will first belong to Bonfire, one of the most successful German hard rock bands of the last 40 years, before Nazareth auftritt, Hardrock-Urgesteine, die zu den international bekanntesten schottischen Bands zählen. Auch der Samstag wartet mit einem vollen Programm auf.

Zunächst entert die irische Sängerin und Gitarristin Grainne Duffy mit ihrem Power-Blues die Bühne, bevor das gefeierte Duo Knuckle Head aus Frankreich, das vom französischen „Rolling Stone“-Magazin als „Kings of the Dark Country“ gefeiert wurde, den Headliner gibt. 

Neben Musik bietet das Festival auch ein riesiges Spektrum an Aktivitäten rund um die Moto Culture – etwa die große Custombike Show powered by Metzeler. Sie wird wie gewohnt vom lokalen Chapter der Harley Owners Group unterstützt. Die H.O.G. engagiert sich auch bei den geführten Touren und der großen Parade, die als Hommage an die Geschichte der amerikanischen Marke und ihren Bezug zu Hamburg vom amerikanischen Generalkonsul Jason Chue eröffnet wird.

This time, it will once again cross the Köhlbrand Bridge - the Hanseatic city's landmark and cultural monument. Of course, the latest Milwaukee Irons such as the Nightster Special and the 117 Breakout can be seen in the Village and, of course, they can be ridden to your heart's content. 

The numerous event highlights include a Ferris wheel and the DOP stunt shows on Friday and Saturday. Mobility partner Ford, like Harley-Davidson, is celebrating its 120th anniversary and will be bringing the living legend Mustang and the Ranger and Bronco models to the event, as well as an off-road course.
