Rock'n'Roll on two wheels
20 years of Hamburg Harley Days
20 years of Hamburg Harley Days want to be celebrated: From May 19th to 21st, 2023, visitors can expect lots of anniversary highlights and action surrounding the most traditional motorcycle manufacturer in the world.
The Harley Village on the wholesale market area features Harley-Davidson dealers from all over Germany, two live stages and top international acts such as Nazareth from Scotland and Knuckle Head from France, an exciting Ford off-road course, the custom bike show powered by Metzeler, the Bike stunt show and – of course – the traditional parade with thousands of bikers, which will lead over the Köhlbrand Bridge again this year.
In addition to a colorful street art program not only for biker fans, for the first time this year a Ferris wheel offers breathtaking views for young and old guests of the Hamburg Harley Days . A special event for all motorcyclists and those who want to become one.
Wherever it says Harley-Davidson, there is always a huge portion of good rock music in it: A large main stage will be set up in the heart of the event area, where strong bands will rock out every day. On Friday evening, the stage will first be occupied by Bonfire, who are one of the most successful German hard rock formations of the last 40 years, before Nazareth, hard rock veterans who are one of the internationally best-known Scottish bands, perform.
Of course they have their big hits like “Dream On” and “Love Hurts” with them for the gig in Hamburg. On Saturday, Irish singer and guitarist Grainne Duffy, who is often compared to Bonnie Raitt, will perform, whose songs offer the perfect synthesis of blues power, longing and passion. Saturday's headliner is the celebrated duo Knuckle Head from France, who were hailed as "Kings of the Dark Country" by the French "Rolling Stone" magazine. The best live gigs also take place on a second stage in Harley Village: Aurel is there, as are Boerney & Die Six Packs and the Steve Foley Band.
The big custom bike show powered by Metzeler, where custom bikes are awarded in 9 categories, is being held and presented for the first time this year by the motorcycle magazine Custombike and the tire professional Metzeler. Particularly attractive for guests from outside are the tours that lead, for example, to the Altes Land or the Lüneburg Heath - with a maximum of 15 participants, professionally led by an experienced road captain.
The big parade, which will be opened by the American Consul General Jason Chue and this time will once again lead over the Köhlbrand Bridge - the landmark and cultural monument of the Hanseatic city - will be the event highlight on Sunday. Of course, the latest Milwaukee Irons such as the Nightster Special and the 117 Breakout are at the start and of course you can test drive them to your heart's content.
In addition to the sensational stunt show with the Polish stunt driver Maciej “DOP” Bielicki, the numerous event highlights include a Ferris wheel, which for the first time offers a breathtaking view of the Elbe, the skyline and the event events. Mobility partner Ford, like Harley-Davidson 120 Lenze, will be bringing the Ranger and Bronco models to the event alongside its living legend Mustang.
As usual, an army of caterers will take care of the visitors' appetite and all guests who have quenched their thirst with a cool blonde or hard liquor can entrust their motorcycle to the Safe Bike Parking.
Like last year, a day ticket costs 10 euros and a weekend ticket costs 18 euros. Admission is free on Sunday, and visitors under the age of 18 also pay no entry.
