The Harley-Davidson model range for 2019 in this country comprises 34 series machines, two trikes and three elaborately customized CVO special models.
The new FXDR 114 makes its debut in the Softail range, a power cruiser designed to reduce weight through the increased use of light alloy and composite materials.
Its look is reminiscent of muscular drag bikes and its propulsion is provided by a Milwaukee-Eight 114 engine with a displacement of 1868 cm3 (114 cui).
This particularly high-torque engine will also be used for the first time in 2019 in the Road King Special, Street Glide Special, Road Glide Special, Road Glide Ultra, Ultra Limited and Ultra Limited Low touring models, as well as in the Freewheeler and Tri Glide Ultra trikes.
With the new Boom! Box GTS, a new infotainment system is making its debut in the Street Glide, Street Glide Special, Road Glide, Road Glide Special, Road Glide Ultra, Ultra Limited and Ultra Limited Low models as well as in the Tri Glide Ultra trike and the three CVO models.
It comes with a new, particularly high-resolution screen, increased computing power and numerous other new features. It is also more intuitive to operate than the previous system, receives DAB+ and is compatible with Apple CarPlay.
The Reflex brake system with electronic brake force distribution and anti-lock braking system is now also used in the Freewheeler and Tri Glide Ultra trikes.
It has been further developed for use in the trikes. In 2019, both trikes also feature traction control with engine drag torque control.
In addition, these models are now equipped with new suspension components at the front and rear.
The CVO models, which are offered in strictly limited editions, benefited from extensive model upgrades.
