The Harley-Davidson model range for 2019 includes 34 series machines, two trikes and three elaborately individualized CVO special models.
The new FXDR 114 makes its debut in the Softail series, a power cruiser whose design focused on reduced weight with the increased use of light alloys and composite materials.
Their look is reminiscent of muscular drag bikes and their propulsion is provided by a Milwaukee-Eight 114 engine with a displacement of 1868 cm3 (114 cui).
This particularly high-torque engine will also be used for the first time in 2019 in the touring models Road King Special, Street Glide Special, Road Glide Special, Road Glide Ultra, Ultra Limited and Ultra Limited Low as well as in the trikes Freewheeler and Tri Glide Ultra.
With the new Boom! Box GTS is celebrating its debut in the Street Glide, Street Glide Special, Road Glide, Road Glide Special, Road Glide Ultra, Ultra Limited and Ultra Limited Low models as well as the Trike Tri Glide Ultra and the three CVO models.
It comes with a new, particularly high-resolution screen, increased computing power and numerous other new features. It is also more intuitive to use than the system previously used, receives DAB+ and is compatible with Apple CarPlay.
The Reflex braking system with electronic brake force distribution and anti-lock braking system is now also used in the Freewheeler and Tri Glide Ultra trikes.
It was further developed for use in trikes. In 2019, both trikes also have traction control with engine drag torque control.
In addition, these models are now equipped with new chassis components at the front and rear.
Extensive model updates benefited the CVO types, which are offered in strictly limited editions.
