In 2021, ride a Harley with Ernesto Guevara on the Caribbean island of Cuba and discover the island.
It's pure adventure - a beautiful country and getting to know the people while you still can.
2021 It should start again, after I went to Cuba to ride a Harley in the spring, I was hooked and it should start again in the spring of 2021. The last tour went to Trinidad and back to Havana via Varadero.

It was really nice, but it couldn't have been everything!
The tour from Havana to Santiago de Cuba
Now Ernesto has prepared a tour especially for us that will take us all the way to Santiago de Cuba. The clear group should consist of 7 to 9 bikers.
The main destination is Santiago de Cuba , the city is located in the southeast of Cuba in a bay on the Caribbean Sea. The second largest city in Cuba has been around for over 500 years.
I actually expect a similar atmosphere to that in Havana , this city is one of my most popular cities alongside New York . Of course they don't go together at all, but it's difficult to explain, you just have to experience them both.
10 days / 11 nights – approx. 2200 km
And of course the best way to experience such stories is on a Harley. The plan is to first go west to one of the best cigar plantations on the island of Cuba in Pinar del Rio.
Since I was in Cuba in the spring, I've been hooked; I haven't actually smoked for 20 years, but Ernesto showed me how to smoke a really good cigar.
One of the best cigars is the Behike, the supply is now running out, so we're going to Pinar del Rio to organize supplies.
My first thought, should we sleep here? From the outside it looked totally shabby again and then you walk in there and don't want to leave.
Then we continue east to Las Terrazas in the Sierra del Rosario Natural Park. Cienfuegos just has to be on the itinerary, simply for those who haven't been to Cuba yet.
UNESCO World Heritage Site Trinidad
Then comes a city that captivates you just as much, that's Trinidad. I won't forget the first time I stood in front of our accommodation, my eyes were really wide.
We really had a great time in Trinidad, the UNESCO World Heritage Site, I can recommend the city to everyone, especially the food, our accommodation was amazing.
Then it's off to new routes, I haven't been to Santo Domingo yet either, on the edge of the Sierra Maestra, where the main camp of the Cuban guerrillas was in the mountains back in the 1950s.
Experiencing these things together with Ernesto Guevara and Camillo, who was also a son of one of the revolutionaries and friend of CHE.
After that comes Sierra Maestra and also Santiago de Cuba. We take the time to visit all the cities. At the end of the tour we have a few days of beach vacation in Santiago before we fly back to Havana from Santiago.

There are more than twelve Harley-Davidson motorcycles in different classes to choose from. From Sporster, Dyna to Street Glide or E-Glide. Whoever comes first can choose one accordingly.
The tour price without flight in Havana is 6900.-* USD in a single room / 6400.-* USD in a double room / driver + passenger in a double room 6400.-* + 3400.- USD*.

The flight from Santiago to Havana is included, as is the transport of the Harleys back to Havana. Accommodation and meals, as well as tour guide, service vehicle and replacement machine.
The flights are usually not available exactly at the start of the tour, last time we spent the meantime in private accommodation right on the Malecon, clean, good and cheap.
Riding a Harley with Ernesto Guevara
I have been friends with Ernesto Guevara for many years, I met him in various countries, but I was only on his island for the first time in 2019 and was able to experience firsthand what it is like for him as the son of CHE .
The military salutes him, they call him CHE and it's hard to imagine what his father means to the people on the island of Cuba. He is still celebrated as a national hero .
It's something special to ride a Harley with him in Cuba and enjoy the good Havana rum Cuban cigar
Cuba is an adventure
In general, it can be said about Cuba that the houses look 90% finished from the outside, there is rarely any real luxury except in the 5 star hotels, but it is still nice. Sure, the food was very good and fresh everywhere, I've heard otherwise before, but I only experienced it positively.
The people are really friendly, we always had a safe feeling in Havana, for example. Even if the people don't have much, they all seem happy, you have to experience it for yourself.
The roads were all ok up to Trinidad, what happens after that, I have no idea, just let it surprise you!
