If you can't or don't want to afford a Harley and have never owned one, you should just keep quiet. Envy is a “bitch” 😉
Hello, mmh, what is that? Colors, a half-baked S, fat tourers and technology that I've gotten from ktm, etc. For years now for 10t and up, they cost 3 times as much here...Where are the new bikes? Harley is becoming priceless and you should shed some light on the myth of good resale value... anyone who has ever wanted to sell a Harley will notice painfully that the iron is simply no longer of any use... and removing and installing the battery on the new softtails is an imposition... to me Isn't it all too much adulation...byebye one less customer
Then you just have to go to KTM, the manufacturer isn't exactly known for bargains, maybe take a look at Suzuki as a tip, they build cheap motorcycles. Incidentally, I don't know of any KTMs with cornering ABS, RDRS systems, or C-TCS. Where else did Brembo come from? And if you want to sell an untouched Harley, the Sportster, Street Glide and especially the Street Bob are very good at retaining their value! Maybe just don't compare the apple with an orange, besides Harley-Davidson has never had the claim to be cheap.
Well then have fun at KTM...
I bought a brand new 1190 Adventure 4 years ago: after three months the display was broken... the ABS failed twice... If you have a suitcase or a top case on it, you should never go faster than 150 km/ h drive because it starts to commute... over 170 km/h is life-threatening!
And when I sold it after a year, KTM had reduced the new price by almost €4,000... so resale value was zero! As I said: Have fun with the KTM! Just don't be upset if you get overtaken by a Harley while traveling :)
Objection: The resale value is still very high, I have the 17th machine in 25 years because I love the innovations and such resale prices bring tears to the eyes of other motorcycle and car dealers. Loss of value 10% in the first year…. who should type that??
