Owners of Android smartphones have long been able to download the Cardo SmartSet app to their phones to configure their Cardo communication system on the go. An iOS version of the popular app for configuring a Cardo G9x has also been available for a short time. Now, the iOS version for the Cardo SHO-1 is also available. Both apps are free of charge.
An important feature of Cardo Bluetooth communication systems is access to the Cardo Community platform.
There, users can not only exchange ideas with other Cardo fans, but also update their device's software and change its settings. To ensure that this online configuration does not have to be done exclusively on a desktop computer or laptop, Cardo has developed the SmartSet application, which allows all owners of a Cardo scala rider G9, scala rider G9x, or SHO-1 to adjust the settings using an Android smartphone via a Bluetooth connection. To do this, they only need to update the software on their communication system and download the SmartSet app to their phone. The update is available free of charge on the Cardo Community platform, and the app is also available free of charge from Google Play at play.google.com.
Owners of the top-of-the-line Cardo models scala rider G9x and SHO-1 can now also configure their communication system via an iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad. The required iOS version of the SmartSet app is available for free download at http://appstore.com/cardosmartset.
The application is available in eight languages and allows you to switch the spoken status messages, the intercom's click-to-link function, and the built-in FM radio's RDS function on and off, save six radio stations, and adjust the sensitivity of the VOX voice connection and the automatic volume control (AGC).
