Owners of Android smartphones have long been able to download the Cardo SmartSet app onto their cell phone in order to configure their Cardo communication system on the go.
There has also recently been an iOs version of the popular application for configuring a Cardo G9x. Now the iOs version also follows for the Cardo SHO-1. Both apps are free. An important feature of the Cardo Bluetooth communication systems is access to the Cardo community platform.
There, the user can not only exchange ideas with other Cardo fans, but also update their device's software and change its settings. So that this online configuration does not have to be done exclusively on a stationary computer or laptop, Cardo has developed the SmartSet application, which enables all owners of a Cardo scala rider G9, scala rider G9x or SHO-1 to change the settings with an Android smartphone via an Bluetooth connection. All they have to do is update the software of their communication system and download the SmartSet app onto their cell phone. The update is available free of charge on the Cardo Community Platform, and the app is also available free of charge on Google Play at play.google.com .
Now owners of the Cardo top models scala rider G9x and SHO-1 can also configure their communication system using an iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad. The required iOS version of the SmartSet app is available for download free of charge at http://appstore.com/cardosmartset.
The application is available in eight languages and allows, among other things, to switch the spoken status messages, the click-to-link function of the intercom and the RDS function of the built-in FM radio on and off, save six radio stations and the sensitivity the VOX voice connection and the automatic volume adjustment AGC.
