Altenburg: Mazda driver avoids cat and collides with Harley driver

Altenburg - Police reports: A traffic accident occurred on Sunday morning at 9:10 a.m., in which a 49-year-old motorcyclist on a Harley was slightly injured. The 51-year-old driver of a Mazda drove down Zwickauer Straße into the city in Altenburg and avoided a cat. As a result of the evasive maneuver, he ended up in the oncoming lane and collided with the oncoming Harley driver.

During the investigation into the accident, in addition to the suspicion of negligent bodily harm, it emerged that the insurance cover for the Mazda driver's vehicle had lapsed.
