On the first weekend in April, Augustfehn heralds the start of the 2016 motorcycle season with the spring meeting

(Augustfehn, 18.02.2016) When the Börjes brothers, managing directors of Börje's American Bikes, and Lars Eyhusen from Börjes Bikers Outfit, motorcycle fans flock to Augustfehn in droves year after year. On April 2 and 3, the atmosphere around the ironworks site will once again be buzzing and the small town of 3,000 inhabitants in Lower Saxony will be transformed into „Bikerfehn“, the two-wheeler Eldorado in the north of the republic. From 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on both days, there will be a mega party for all friends of gasoline, leather and rock ’n’ roll. Motorcycles line the streets, people meet up for a chat, enjoy food and drink at the food stands, the hustle and bustle of the market with numerous bike-related vendors, a large motorcycle exhibition, countless new and used bike offers and the XXL flea market on Sunday. On both days, spectacular trial stunt shows with Fred Crosset, Chris Bruano and Mike Hendricks will also provide an adrenaline rush.

Im Auge des Orkans steigt bei Börjes American Bikes eine große Probefahrtaktion. Da der „Harley on Tour“-Truck vorgefahren ist, steht eine ganze Armada flammneuer 2016er-Maschinen aus den USA dazu bereit. Sogar die limitierten Sondermodelle CVO Street Glide und CVO Road Glide Ultra sind mit von der Partie. Gleich nebenan dürfen Custombikes, unter anderem aus dem Harley „Battle of the Kings“-Wettbewerb, bestaunt werden. Und natürlich gibt’s die neue Harley-Davidson Fashionkollektion für den Sommer sowie attraktive Tuning-, Umbau- und Zubehör-Angebote. Gegenüber bietet Börjes Bikers Outfit Motorradkleidung anderer renommierter Hersteller und einen Helm-Testride an, der klärt, ob man mit dem neuen Kopfschutz wirklich warm wird.

Meanwhile, hungry stomachs and dry throats are catered for by the Eisenhütte with its gastronomic experience for bikers. From the large terrace, you can enjoy the view of the hustle and bustle while relaxing with cake or a hearty meal. A hot tip: this year there are still dates available for proper biker weddings.

Whether you belong to the cruising faction or are dedicated to the long-distance experience, knee-grinding or off-road riding, the spring meeting simply inspires everyone who loves two gas-powered bikes!
