The “best brand” and “best dealer” categories went to Harley-Davidson in 2014

Every autumn, the German motorcycle industry waits eagerly for the result, and when the bomb bursts, some dealers, manufacturers and importers pop the champagne corks. We're talking about the industry awards that the trade magazine “bike und business” awards every year. This year's show of the best took place on November 27th in front of 250 invited guests from industry, trade and associations at the “bike and business” conference in Würzburg, and representatives of the Harley-Davidson brand were invited onto the stage several times.
To the great delight of Harley-Davidson Germany GmbH, the US brand is at the top of the “Best Brands 2014” in the dealer satisfaction survey. The underlying representative market study evaluated, among other things, the quality of the products, the ability to deliver and the dealer support in terms of marketing and sales. The result: Nobody is happier with their supplier than the Harley dealers.
At the “Motorcycle Dealer of the Year” award, a Harley-Davidson delegation was once again on the winner’s podium. In a complex process, a top-class jury from 191 participating companies determined the best dealers. In the final ranking, Harley-Davidson Rostock took second place. The Rostock-based company was recognized for its excellent sales and service business. The main criteria were sales effectiveness, creativity in marketing via the web and customer orientation. “I am proud of our entire team!” says Managing Director Michael Brose happily. “We will continue to do everything we can to exceed our customers’ expectations and delight them.” After the representatives in Aachen, Frankfurt and Augsburg, Harley-Davidson Rostock is the fourth Harley dealer to be among Germany's top 3 in the past six years.
