Donate to the Rappelkiste daycare center
The municipal daycare center “Rappelkiste” in Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler severely affected by the flood in July last year. The ground floor in particular was badly damaged. Fortunately, provisional operations have now been resumed. The rooms on the undamaged upper floor can currently be used. In addition, additional care is provided on the premises of the nearby old school in Bachem. Further renovation of the facility will take place gradually.
“Free Eagles” from the Rhine district of Neuss is also aware that the reconstruction of the Ahr Valley is a major challenge and that there is still a need for support Without further ado, the members decided to help. The club has previously attracted attention through the “Rockers for Children” charity event.
To support the children in the district town, the rockers auctioned off an almost new and extensively converted Harley-Davidson model FXCWC “Rocker” with just over 7,000 kilometers on it from 2008. The auction started on the eBay platform with a minimum bid of 15,000 Euro. In addition, the Free Eagles will take over all insurance and taxes for the new owner for 2022.
Ultimately, a total of 15,805.07 euros for the Harley Davidson . The entire amount will go to the municipal Rappelkiste daycare center. The donation will be used to purchase new play areas such as climbing frames, swings, etc.
“We are very grateful that the children in Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler are still being thought of even after so many months. “Thanks to this great donation from the Free Eagles, we can rebuild the Rappelkiste daycare center to be even more attractive,” said Gregor Terporten, head of the Generations and Sport department, happily.
