BIKE AND MUSIC WEEKEND 2017
It has long since established itself as one of the most important bike events of the summer: in 2017, the BIKE AND MUSIC WEEKEND will once again invite you to a spectacular weekend all about motorcycles and music. From August 3rd to 6th it will take place again on the grounds of the Autohof Strohofers .
At the beginning of August, the unique area will once again be transformed into a mecca for bikers, rockers, US car fans and other motorized two-wheeled individualists. In recent years, more than 20,000 visitors have come to see the spectacular shows with bike stunts, US cars, drag races and custom bikes.
Rising clouds of tire smoke and hearty barbecue smoke will alternately mist the open-air atmosphere and bring the mood among the festival visitors to a boil, whose hearts are already beating to the V2 beat.
The spectacular bike stunt shows alternate with the presentation of highly polished American cars, huge drag racers in breathtaking shows and loud, screaming burn outs that are guaranteed to burst some tires again.
Visitors can expect bizarre self-made vehicles, which are highly polished and rattling on display by their proud owners, and all sorts of culinary delicacies are freshly grilled and prepared.
There is also a lot on offer in terms of music acts in 2017!
KROKUS has already been confirmed. They are the most internationally successful group in Switzerland and have been active since the 1970s. With hits like “Bedside Radio” and “Tokyo Nights,” the Swiss also enjoyed huge success in America.
Also there is SKI-KING, also known for bands like BELOVED ENEMY, who will perform a colorfully mixed solo set of the very best with his unmistakably magnificent voice between Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash and Lemmy Kilmister.
Tireless, as you know SKI-KING, he brings one of his most diverse bands with him under the name THE REVEREND ANDREW JAMES GANG to present a handmade cover set.
ROCCO RECYCLE, the solo artist in silver, is an absolute feast for the eyes and builds well-sounding instruments out of various scraps such as petrol cans and garbage cans in order to play crazy cover versions.
And if you still don't have enough, the BLUE ONIONS offer a Blues Brothers tribute show in a class of its own: whether it's nasty US cops, legends like Ray Charles or James Brown; A Jake and an Elwood offer a Blues Brothers set with the original-like band that is second to none and is the only one to achieve the spirit of the 1980s film classic.
