BIKE AND MUSIC WEEKEND 2018 – under the motto “Gasoline Alley”, visitors can expect a unique festival experience from August 2nd to 5th, 2018
Germany's most spectacular bike event is entering the next round. 4 days of the extra class await the festival guests, with top-class rock bands as well as breathtaking stunt and drift shows. Experience adrenaline up close from the 2nd to the 5th. August 2018.
“Gasoline Alley” is the motto of the Bike & Music Weekend 2018. The line-up of dragster and stunt drivers lives up to the name. Among others, the multiple world record holder and stunt driver Terry Grant is expected. In 2015, the Brit, known and loved internationally as one of the boldest and most daring drivers ever, defied gravity in a Jaguar and earned an entry in the Guinness Book of Records for the largest loop ever driven in a car.
In addition to Terry Grant's daredevil stunts, the program also includes stunt shows by street bike freestyler Julien Welsch, as well as various drift shows by Jochen Reich and the crazy Portuguese Ricardo Domingos, who sometimes seems to override physics with his ingenious stunts.
There are also various spectacular custom-made vehicles and dragster vehicles to admire. Participating again this year: the Duck Team with the fastest jet dragster that exists on the European mainland. An open pit lane before the shows allows the audience to come into direct contact with the drivers and view the vehicles up close.
Musically there are also top-class musicians: Manfred Mann's Earth Band, an absolute classic rock legend, finds his way to Geiselwind. Who doesn't know them? Hits like “Blinded By The Light”, “Davy's On The Road Again”, “Father of Day, Father of Night”, “Mighty Quinn”, “I came for you” have classic status. Another main act: the most booked Rammstein tribute band in Europe, STAHLZEIT . A gigantic and unique live experience, not just for RAMMSTEIN fans. More than 16 bands will perform on 3 stages throughout the weekend.
Like hardly any other event , a music festival with several stages, a cozy bike meeting, a mega event with spectacular shows and unique custom bikes & US cars, a huge dealer mile and a large campsite merge into an incomparable open air event in the biker lifestyle !
New in the billing: THE NEW ROSES. The Wiesbaden-based band delivers catchy stadium rock and has already played on stage with greats like ZZ Top, Roger Chapman and Joe Bonamassa. With their 2017 single “Life Ain't Easy” they achieved a nationwide radio hit.
In addition to all these highlights, the usual jam-packed program features other events and activities that no one should miss.
Further band confirmations will be announced soon. An insider tip:
The Chili Bar has a biker pub feeling around the clock with musical entertainment and much more.
