Bilsport Custom Motorshow in Sweden

From April 9-13, 2009 the Bilsport Custom Show took place in Sweden in the beautiful town of Jönköping. US Car and US Bike exhibitors from all over Northern Europe gathered in the large exhibition hall to present their vehicles. There were over 75,000 thousand visitors in the halls over the weekend, and I would say that they were all very enthusiastic. They were offered an event of a special kind, many exceptional US cars in very good condition were presented in an absolutely professional manner. This custom show is really one of the best, from the "Ultimate Chopper" to the big airbrushed show truck, hotrods, rocket vehicles or the "Batman" car, there was so much to see that you really have to take your time to see everything.
Marcus Walz and Michael Knepper from Germany were also invited to the event, both were of course the eye-catchers par excellence, they had already heard a lot about the custom builder in Scandinavia, now you could see his bikes live, and many visitors also marveled at the picture gallery of Michael Knepper, who presented his new work "Spirit of Sturgis", among other things

Those interested in airbrushing had the opportunity to take part in an airbrush course and were introduced to the art of painting with a gun.
The comic artist D-Man traveled from Ireland, and one wondered who was more curious, his drawings or himself.
In the middle of the largest hall, a bar was set up in the style of the 60s, where pretty girls rode around on their rollerblades in front of the bar to serve the guests in the vehicle, just like it used to be fashionable.
The area was cordoned off and still for show, not that anyone believes that anything was really sold from this bar, no, everything was purely for show. Everything was just for the eye, one or the other would have been happy to have this bar. Many movie cars and bikes, even a replica of the James Dean Porsche and the Ultimate Chopper were on display for the show.
There were plenty of hour shows and other entertainment on the outdoor area, all in all a highly recommended show, Harley-Davidson also presented many vintage vehicles, there was actually something for everyone to see.

Even after the event, there was a party on the market square in Jönköping that took you back to the 60s. All over the city, US sleds were driving up and down the streets and most of them met in the large square to party. Not only were the vehicles in top condition, but also their owners and passengers were all dressed in the old style with quiffs and everything that goes with it.
