Börjes American Bikes GmbH is the authorized Harley-Davidson dealer for the greater Bremen , based on Hauptstr. 55 in 28816 Stuhr. The company has been active at its current location since January 2020 and took over the HD contract area from another dealer who left the dealer network at the end of 2019 [The Weserkurier has reported on this several times]. A total of 19 employees take care of our customers' needs in a relaxed, family atmosphere and always have an open ear.

Local customers in the greater Bremen area and neighboring Lower Saxony are supported as needed when it comes to purchasing new and used machines, in all matters relating to our workshop services and with our online shop. The company offers a very extensive range of motorcycle clothing, fashion and accessories.

Since their founding, the three young managing directors have been unusually challenged by the government restrictions associated with the pandemic and the lockdowns, by the associated global supply chain problems for machines, accessories and spare parts and by the skyrocketing costs. Despite all adversities, the team managed to build the company in an exemplary manner and further develop it profitably.

Word quickly spread throughout the industry and among suppliers and partners about the extraordinary achievements of Börjes American Bikes at the Stuhr location. That's why the managing directors were asked in mid- 2022 to apply for the “Motorcycle Dealer of the Year 2022” competition. Bike & Business magazine is organizing the competition among all motorcycle dealers in German-speaking countries.

The managing directors Malte Börjes (35), Malte Kreke (31) and Steffen Börjes (32) did not hesitate and prepared the extensive application documents with topics on customer service and customer orientation, the company concept, sales and marketing activities, community engagement and internet activities and the business key performance factors. The result was an 18-page application.

This impressed the jury (consisting of editors, insurers, banks and representatives of major suppliers in the industry) and led to Börjes American Bikes being named in the TOP 10 of the motorcycle trade for the competition. After selecting the TOP 10 motorcycle dealers, the jury visited them and subjected them to a rigorous audit. The company processes and performance were put through their paces.

The tension was maintained by Bike & Business until the award ceremony at the Bike & Business conference in Unna on November 17th, 2022. All traders were invited to the festive gala evening, without knowing who would win. As the evening progressed, the tension increased immeasurably. After all, they were among the TOP 3 dealers. In the end, the team from Börjes American Bikes GmbH, which took part in the award ceremony with 8 colleagues, was named the best motorcycle dealer of 2022 .

The laudators Stephan Maderner (chief editor and head of the dealer area at Syburger Verlag ) and Matthias Schmitt (head of sales operation at mobile.de) justified the jury's selection with the excellent performance in all business areas of Börjes American Bikes GmbH.

Particular emphasis was placed on the incomparable customer orientation, the effectiveness of sales, the creativity in marketing online and offline as well as the modern website with unique features for customers. “The company’s team members see themselves as enablers. “Nothing is left unturned to meet even the most unusual customer requests and make deliveries possible,” concluded Stephan Maderner in his laudatory speech.

The team then proudly accepted the certificate and a large, themed trophy. Afterwards we celebrated until late into the night.
