BRADLEY SMITH TO COMPETE IN THE BAGGER WORLD CUP WITH A SILVERSTONE WILDCARD

The former MotoGP podium finisher will compete in his home race in the United Kingdom with a special Silverstone livery. H-D ticket packages are now available.

MILWAUKEE, USA (July 7, 2026) – The FIM Harley-Davidson Bagger World Cup is set to feature a high-profile addition for its debut at Silverstone: Former MotoGP podium finisher Bradley Smith will compete as a wildcard entry in the British championship round from August 7 to 9. The race weekend will take place as part of the MotoGP Grand Prix of Great Britain and brings Smith, one of Britain’s best-known motorcycle racers, back in front of his home crowd. His guest appearance adds extra star power to the championship’s first round at Silverstone and forges an even closer connection with British fans, the media, and the H-D community.

Smith will compete on a second bike from the ParkinGO team, which is being fielded in close collaboration with Harley-Davidson. His teammate is regular Bagger World Cup rider Filippo Rovelli. In this way, ParkinGO is expanding its participation in the British round to two motorcycles while also strengthening its successful partnership with Harley-Davidson.

To coincide with the championship’s premiere in the United Kingdom, Smith’s race car will feature an exclusive Silverstone livery—a tribute to one of the world’s most historic racetracks and one of its most famous British drivers.

Fans can experience the Bagger World Cup up close. The official Harley-Davidson ticket packages include, among other things, access to the exclusive H-D Grandstand, the H-D Village, autograph sessions with the riders, reserved motorcycle parking, luggage and gear storage, and exclusive hospitality offerings throughout the race weekend. Tickets are now available via the MotoGP ticket platform.

Jeffrey Schuessler – Director of Global Racing Programs, Harley-Davidson
„Silverstone is the perfect place to welcome Bradley as a wild-card driver in our championship. A driver of his caliber will draw extra attention in front of his home crowd and create an even stronger connection between British fans and the Bagger World Cup.”.
Bradley continues to focus on the MotoAmerica Mission King of the Baggers Championship with our Harley-Davidson Factory Racing Team. However, his close ties to the British Grand Prix and the Silverstone circuit offer a unique opportunity to combine our two racing programs.
Bradley plays a unique role in this: While he competes in the U.S. as an official Harley-Davidson factory rider, he will race for ParkinGO at Silverstone—with the same technical package and the same support provided to all teams in the championship. This level playing field is an essential part of the philosophy behind our Bagger World Cup.
“The wild card represents much more than just an additional rider on the starting grid. It connects the British motorcycle community with one of the most legendary Grand Prix circuits, while also strengthening the partnership between Harley-Davidson, MotoGP, and the Bagger World Cup teams."

„When the ParkinGO team and Harley-Davidson contacted me about Silverstone, I didn’t have to think twice. It will be my 14th British Grand Prix. And racing in front of a home crowd is always something very special. I’ve started this new chapter with Harley-Davidson Factory Racing in the MotoAmerica Mission King of the Baggers series and have enjoyed it immensely so far. This wildcard now gives me the chance to ride the Harley again on the big international stage. The Bagger World Cup has shown just how high the level of competition is—with many friends and longtime rivals on the starting grid. And at Silverstone—on a track I know inside and out—I’ve had several unforgettable races. Of course, there’s still a lot to learn in the Bagger World Cup, especially when it comes to the different tires. But this time, the others are stepping onto my home turf—and my pride is on the line. So let the battle begin. Riding a Harley-Davidson in front of my home crowd at Silverstone is an opportunity I can’t pass up. I’m already looking forward to seeing you all at the track—break out the British flags!“

Edoardo Rovelli – Team Manager, ParkinGO Team
„Welcoming a rider like Bradley to our team is a great opportunity. With his international Grand Prix experience and his current work in the MotoAmerica Mission King of the Baggers series, he brings valuable expertise and new perspectives that will benefit the entire team.”.
For ParkinGO, this project is a special milestone. Silverstone is a key race of the season, and the fact that Harley-Davidson has entrusted us with the care of a second motorcycle underscores the mutual trust we’ve built since the start of the season. We’re really looking forward to working together and enjoying a successful race weekend.“

Bradley Smith is one of the most successful British motorcycle racers of recent years. After finishing as runner-up in the 2009 125cc World Championship and placing third in the 2011 Moto2 World Championship, he established himself in MotoGP, where he competed for eight seasons and secured several podium finishes. He then moved to the Harley-Davidson Factory Racing Team in the MotoAmerica Mission King of the Baggers Championship. Since joining the series, he has consistently been among the top riders and regularly competes for podium finishes and victories.

The race at Silverstone is the fourth event of the inaugural season of the FIM Harley-Davidson Bagger World Cup and also marks the championship’s first appearance in the United Kingdom. British fans will get their first taste of the H-D Village, the exclusive spectator grandstand, and the series’ open paddock concept.
