The two new Pan America and Bronx models are powered by the new, liquid-cooled Revolution Max engine, which was developed by Harley-Davidson as the basis for a completely new model family.

It is characterized by high elasticity, a wide usable speed range, exciting revving and powerful performance - all with a slim design and low weight.

To ensure optimally centralized masses, the engine is integrated into the frame as a load-bearing component, which in turn benefits handling.

A balancer shaft reduces first-order vibrations for greater comfort and longevity. With clearly defined lines, the striking design of the Revolution Max fits in with the decades-long engine tradition “made in the USA” and at the same time suggests new perspectives.

o Since 1909, V-twin engines have been at the heart of Harley-Davidson motorcycles The company is now continuing this tradition with the new Revolution Max engine in the medium displacement segment.

o A cylinder angle of 60 degrees provides space for two throttle bodies in a downdraft arrangement, which ensure a high intake volume and powerful performance.

o Liquid cooling keeps the temperature difference between individual engine parts small, regardless of the outside temperature and driving situation.

World-renowned partners in development – brakes and tires

In order to give the Pan America and the Bronx outstanding driving characteristics, Harley-Davidson cooperates with high-class suppliers whose solutions in terms of brakes and tires are perfectly tailored to the new models.

The development collaboration with Brembo resulted in a new, radially mounted four-piston monoblock brake caliper, which, in addition to clear feedback and powerful deceleration, also sets unique accents in terms of design. When it comes to tires, Harley-Davidson worked closely with Michelin.

Tires specially developed for each of the two models have a decisive influence on the driving experience and at the same time offer a high level of grip and performance in every driving situation.
