CANNON BALL STAGE II BY RICK'S MOTORCYCLES AND W&W

W&W, together with Rick's Motorcycles, the Canonball Stage II onto the streets. The basis for this is a Harley-Davidson Softail Slim , which is particularly suitable for radical conversions due to its low starting price. What stands out about the project are the Cannonball MAG 12 wheels in drag race design from the 60s.

CANNONBALL MAG-12 WHEEL

CANNONBALL MAG-12 WHEEL

They are the direct connection to the legendary US dragster races and are also known as MAG-WHEEL. Because of their particular stability, they were particularly in demand at the time and in the early 70s, customizers tried to somehow implement them into the Harley. Motorsport and customizing were already a topic at the beginning of the 70s, but the options were only limited.

Rick's Canonball Stage II

The version with the 12 spokes was in great demand and that's why W&W reissued it in cooperation with Rick's Motorcycles in a high-quality aluminum alloy with a magnesium look.

They are available in the sizes 3×16″, 2.5 x 19″ inches from W&W in MAG finish and drum polished. The design corresponds exactly to the original, the wheels in magnesium design have a wheel load of 350 kilos according to W&W. Which finish appeals to you depends, of course, on the general design of your own project.

The accessories of the Canon Ball Stage II

MOONEYES RESERVE TANK

The reserve tank has the design of an exhaust tailpipe like the one installed on the Canon Ball.

Handcrafted leather saddle

Such a high-quality special leather saddle doesn't come off the shelf; Rick's Motorcycles had it made specifically for the project. This is also possible for your project upon request.

John Doe

New parts shouldn't look new, which is why Rick's finely sanded and partially matted various parts, and he did a good job all around. The matt black paint suits her just as well as the sand-colored paint, which makes her look a bit like a dirty race track.

Harley-Davidson Slim Bobber – Canonball Stage II

It's an art, the tank paint looks really old, plus the old Harley-Davidson tank logo rounds off the old style. Old style and new technology, because the Stage II is powered by a 107 Milwaukee-Eight engine.

An old exciting story from the 60s gave rise to this cool custom bike, the MAG-12 rims were the inspiration. If you want to build something like this yourself, you can find the parts at W&W and Rick's Motorycyles.
