Until now, only owners of Android smartphones could download the Cardo SmartSet app onto their cell phone in order to configure their Cardo communication system on the go. There is now also an iOs version of the popular application for Apple smartphone users. Both apps are free.

An important feature of the Cardo Bluetooth communication systems is access to the Cardo community platform at http://community.cardosystems.com. There, the user can not only exchange ideas with other Cardo fans, but also update their device's software and change its settings. So that this online configuration does not have to be done exclusively on a stationary computer or laptop, Cardo has developed the SmartSet application, which enables all owners of a Cardo scala rider G9, scala rider G9x or SHO-1 to change the settings using an Android smartphone Bluetooth connection.

All they have to do is update the software of their communication system and download the SmartSet app onto their cell phone. The update is available free of charge on the Cardo Community Platform, and the app is also available free of charge on Google Play at http://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.cardoapps.smartset.

From now on, owners of the Cardo top model scala rider G9x can also configure their communication system using an iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad. The required iOS version of the SmartSet app is available to download free of charge at http://appstore.com/cardosmartset.

The application is available in eight languages and allows, among other things, to switch the spoken status messages, the click-to-link function of the intercom and the RDS function of the built-in FM radio on and off, save six radio stations and adjust the sensitivity of the VOX -Voice connection and the automatic volume adjustment AGC.
If you need help downloading or using the SmartSet app, you can get it at appsupport@cardosystems.com. Comments on this new service from Cardo are welcome at appfeedback@cardosystems.com.
