300 Harleys at the kickoff of the 27th HARLEY-DAVIDSON ^® CHARITY TOUR on June 15, 2024 in Vienna, Lower Austria and Burgenland

The Harley-Davidson ^® Charity Tour (HDCT) started the new charity season for the benefit of people with muscle problems for the 27th time with the kickoff on Saturday, June 15th, 2024 in Vienna, Lower Austria and Burgenland. It was the start of the big one Charity tour, which runs from 14th to 18th. August rolls through all of Austria.

In order to be able to support families quickly and unbureaucratically with the help of the Harley-Davidson ^® Charity Tour, in cooperation with the Licht ins Dunkel emergency aid fund, where a member has to overcome the challenges of people with muscle problems, almost 300 bikers gathered at 10:00 p.m. at the Q19 Shopping Center PLUS aka Marco Prinner together with prominent supporters of the HDCT such as Oliver Feicht, Tony Wegas, Andrea Kdolsky, Toni Rey, Albert Fortell, etc.

The Harleys then cruised to Adi Bittermann's Genusswelt in Göttlesbrunn. At 1:00 p.m. the bikers were welcomed by the grill world champion himself with his delicious HDCT burger creation, as well as by Markus Lager with his organic wines and they were treated to country pop by Lara & theRoofcats . Dieter Baier, President of the HDCT, was pleased about the record participation: “Even after almost three decades, the cohesion of the Harley community with the goal of doing good together is greater than ever.”

Then the impressive entourage moved on to the next stop, which was scheduled for 3:00 p.m.: Esterházy Castle in Eisenstadt. A donation check from Oberbank picked up there. The Vinothek Selektion was waiting for the bikers with Burgenland specialties and the finest jazz in a lounge atmosphere.

The end of the kick-off was the city park festival in Wiener Neustadt, where the bikers finally arrived at 6 p.m. Visitors to the city park festival admired the hot Harleys and were able to donate to Austria's muscle sufferers. They were put in a good mood with Folk'n Roll from the Freemensingers .

This kickoff was also moderated by Radio Vienna DJ Alex List, who never tired of the big tour, which from August 14th to 18th stopped in Vienna, Bad Radkersburg, Schladming, Gmünd in Carinthia, Lienz, St. Johann, among others in Tyrol, Obernberg am Inn, Ried im Innkreis, Linz and Krems.

The donations were raised before the season through screenings of the film about the HDCT produced by the tour's founder, Ferdinand O. Fischer, as well as charity events on May 1st in Steyr-Bad Hall and at the Schönfeld Golf Club The kickoff resulted in a further 24 donation checks totaling over €100,000.
