This is the latest information about the European Bike Week 2019 at Lake Faak in beautiful Carinthia .
The heart of the European Bike Week has been the large tent city Harley Village in Faak am See - although it has grown tremendously in the past decades and now covers an area of around 40,000 square meters.
There's a lot new at European Bike Week 2019
16 Harley dealers from Austria, Germany, Poland, Italy and Croatia as well as around 100 independent traders are at the start here - and they simply offer everything that corresponds to motorcycles in general and US bikes in particular - from stylish biker outfits to powerful ones Custom parts.
The Harley Bar

The Harley Bar can be found on the corner of Dealer Mile and Customizer Area. The main stage has found its new home in this large tent. Live entertainment is offered here from 12 noon to 1 am. And of course food and drink are also provided.
Not-to-be-missed program items include the HD MotorClothes & Event Merchandise Dance Shows, which take place on stage daily at 4:10 p.m. This year the main stage is located further down, where it goes to the custom bike area, in the large tent.
Faaktoberzelt – Celebrate the Bavarian way
Also new is the 500-man Faaktober tent , which comes right after the caterer area. Here we celebrate in Bavarian style - with beer from the traditional mug, pretzels and a strong music program.
The large EXPO tent with the latest Harley-Davidson models you can touch is now on the site of the former main stage.
The Harley-Davidson Expo with chill-out area

Traditionally, Harley-Davidson presents the latest machines for the following year to the public at the European Bike Week.
Harley-Davidson experts advise customers and show them which original accessories are best suited for their respective machine, while the professionals from Harley-Davidson Financial Services provide information about financing and insurance.
If you want to relax, you have the opportunity to do so here - for example on the spacious terrace. DJs provide the appropriate musical background.
The artist David Uhl at the Expo

57-year-old David Uhl is an American artist who specializes in oil paintings of young and vintage Harley-Davidson cars and is known for his “Women of Harley-Davidson” works.
In 1998 he created his first oil painting and shortly afterwards became the Motor Company's first officially licensed painter. In Faak, David presents his works and lets people look over his shoulder while he paints in the expo.
The Lego Harley at the Expo

Lego fans will be impressed by the full-size Fat Boy model
The Danish company Lego - the largest toy manufacturer in the world - continues to demonstrate great creativity when it comes to the Lego bricks, which are now considered toy classics.
A new Lego Creator Expert set came onto the market in 2019: a Harley-Davidson Fat Boy, which is assembled from 1,023 parts, has numerous moving parts and underlines the Lego developers' attention to detail.
This year at the European Bike Week Expo, Lego is showing that things can be a few sizes bigger: Here you can marvel at a detailed Lego Fat Boy that is exactly the same size as its steel model.
The Lego experts made the model in 865 hours of work from 69,569 Lego elements and refined it with light and sound effects.
The Jumpstart driving simulators
The authentic Jumpstart driving simulators can be found on the Main Plaza.
This is a real petrol-powered Harley-Davidson, firmly mounted on a robust metal frame, and an electrically powered LiveWire, the rear wheels of which rotate on rollers.
Here you can experience what it feels like to drive a Harley-Davidson, even without a driving license.
The Harley Lounge
In this new open-air location on the Main Plaza, visitors can expect food and drinks as well as the sound of DJ Destruction and Prof. Washboard. A relaxed atmosphere is guaranteed.
The test rides (demo rides)
Tuesday: 12:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday to Friday: 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Saturday: 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m
The Demo Ride Area can be found at the intersection of Seeufer-Landesstraße and Bahnhofstraße. Around 60 machines are available to event visitors for free and non-binding demo rides of a maximum of one hour.
The only requirement is a valid motorcycle license. Jacket, helmet and gloves can be borrowed if required.
Registration on site is possible at any time during the stand's opening hours.
The Softail Experience Rides are new
New this year are the approximately two-hour guided Softail Experience Rides, during which guests discover all the advantages of the Softail models.
The customizer area

The fact that no two Harleys are the same can be best observed in the customizer area of the Harley Village, where experts in their field present their creations and inspire the audience with the current trends in the conversion scene. The renowned custom bike show will take place in this event area on Friday.
The Skate Ramp and Vans Pro Skater Show in the Customizer Area

At the new HD halfpipe, visitors will see some of Europe's best Vans skateboarding pros in action. The shows take place several times a day from Thursday to Saturday and brave guests can also demonstrate their skills on the skateboard in competitions.
Custom bike show Friday

Almost no Harley-Davidson is left in series condition. The optical and technical modifications are referred to as customizing. They require weeks, months and sometimes years of intense work and reflect the spirit of the owner.
At the European Bike Week, the most elegant and valuable conversions traditionally compete for the favor of an experienced jury of experts. In a separate category, original or perfectly restored classic Harley models compete for honor and trophies.
The guided tours
To show guests the beauty of the landscape around Lake Faak, the local HOG Kärnten Chapter Austria offers three guided tours. Registration takes place online at or in the chapter tent in the Motodrom area next to the A1 gas station
The parade on Saturday
Saturday, September 7th, line-up: from 10:00 a.m., start: 12:00 p.m. Length of route: approx. 90 kilometers and a journey time of around 3 hours.
One of the event highlights of the European Bike Week is traditionally the big parade. All two-wheeled riders are warmly invited to take part - regardless of whether they ride a Harley-Davidson or prefer another brand, and regardless of the engine capacity of their vehicle.
