CUSTOMBIKE SHOW 2017 – The world's largest trade fair for customized motorcycles
The CUSTOMBIKE SHOW is already in its 13th year. Once again, customizers and motorcycle enthusiasts from all over the world will meet from December 1 to 3, 2017 in East Westphalia Bad Salzuflen. In four exhibition halls become over 1,000 upgraded machines be admired and More than 300 companies will be exhibiting across 28,000 square meters. Exhibition space dedicated to everything related to customizing motorcycles.
The finale of the International German Custom Bike Building Championship promises to be spectacular, with around 300 participants competing for titles and trophies in 18 categories with their unique bikes. The special show, which will take place in its own exhibition hall, will also be a highlight. „The Art of Racing“ will cause a sensation. Epic racing machines and radical custom bikes that embody the spirit of racing competition allow visitors to immerse themselves in the world of people and riders such as Burt Munro, Ernst Henne, and Scott Parker.
The supporting program guarantees top-class entertainment: Henny Kroeze and his team will race along the steep wall performing breakneck maneuvers. Other attractions, such as body painting demonstrations, the Miss CUSTOMBIKE contest, world premieres of motorcycles, the Build-Da-Fukker contest, numerous custom bike presentations, and much more, round off the varied show program.
The European Biker Build-Off is one of the highlights of the CUSTOMBIKE SHOW. Since 2007, two teams have been competing against each other with one show bike each. The Biker Build-Off system is well known: the two teams have three days to complete a custom bike live in front of the trade fair visitors. The winner of this exciting duel will be announced on Sunday afternoon. This year, visitors can look forward to seeing the mechanical skills of Christoph Repp (Harley-Davidson Würzburg Village) and Enrico de Haas (Wannabe-Choppers Motorradmanufaktur).
Christoph Repp has been a Harley dealer since 2007 and has been deeply rooted in the scene for over 35 years. His own creations, in which he does not commit to any particular style, have already earned him and his team numerous awards. His opponent, Enrico de Haas, founded the Wannabe-Choppers label at the age of 15 with the aim of building motorcycles. He has been doing this for almost 14 years now, and during this time the 28-year-old has set several customizing milestones with his team.
It will be exciting not only for motorcycle manufacturers, but also for visitors. During the three days of the trade fair, exclusive prizes worth a total of over €35,000 will be raffled off. Among other things, visitors can win a Triumph Bonneville Bobber and a Harley-Davidson Sportster Iron 883.
