CUSTOMBIKE SHOW 2016 – The world’s largest trade fair for converted motorcycles
For the twelfth time, customizers and motorcycle enthusiasts from all over the world are meeting for the CUSTOMBIKESHOW in Bad Salzuflen .
From December 2nd to 4th, 2016, almost 800 refined machines will be on display in the four exhibition halls and more than 300 companies will be presenting everything related to customizing motorcycles on over 23,000 square meters of exhibition space. The finale of the International German Championship in Custom Bike Building will be spectacular, with around 300 participants competing with their unique bikes for titles and trophies in 18 categories. The special “Save the Choppers” show, which will take place in its own exhibition hall, will also cause a stir. From the true-to-original Captain America replica from the cult film Easy Rider to Swedish choppers that are more than three meters long, more than 25 tough fire chairs are presented.
The supporting program guarantees the best entertainment: Henny Kroeze and his team will race along the steep face with breakneck maneuvers. All tattoo fans can look forward to the first TATTOO AREA. Sina Minou, Julia Jasmin Rühle aka JJ, Daniel Krause and Ingo Kantorek will be there, all of whom are known far beyond the scene thanks to their TV celebrities. CUSTOMBIKE election , the exclusive appearance of the Fuel Girls, motorcycle world premieres, the BuildDaFukkerContest, numerous custom bike presentations and much more, round off the varied show program.
The European Biker BuildOff is one of the highlights of the CUSTOMBIKESHOW. Since 2007, two teams from different nations have been competing against each other with a show bike each. The Biker BuildOff system is well known: The two teams have three days to complete a custom bike live in front of the trade fair visitors. The winner in this exciting duel will be awarded on Sunday afternoon. This year you can look forward to the mechanics of Martin Becker (MB Cycles, Heidelberg) and Nicolas Pigeyre (Esteves Motorcycles Design, France). motorcycles professionally since 2001 and is not committed to any style or basis. At the CUSTOMBIKESHOW 2015 the title “Best Chopper” went to Heidelberg for a YamahaXS650 conversion. Nicolas Pigeyre became known worldwide through the construction of the Spindle frames and the EMDRibbed castings. Since then he has appeared with his EMDFamily on stages such as the “Tokyo Motor Show” and the “Born Free Show” in the USA.
It will not only be exciting for the motorcycle builders, but also for the visitors. Exclusive prizes with a total value of over 35,000 euros will be raffled off on the three days of the trade fair.
The prizes include a BMW R nineT and a HarleyDavidson XL1200CB Custom Limited.
