CUSTOMBIKE SHOW – The world's largest trade fair for converted motorcycles is celebrating its tenth anniversary with records
330 exhibitors, 800 unique motorcycle conversions, again more than 30,000 visitors – the CUSTOMBIKE SHOW remains on a growth path in its tenth year and underlines its international status.
The CUSTOMBIKE SHOW took place for the tenth time
Bad Salzuflen from December 5th to 7th, 2014 To mark the anniversary, several records were broken - more motorcycles, more shows and more national and international exhibitors were part of the world's largest trade fair for converted motorcycles.
Winston Yeh from Taiwan, the winner of the International Custombike Championship Germany, explains this with: “In Asia, everyone says that if you want to achieve something in Europe, you have to go to the CUSTOMBIKE SHOW in Germany, it is the most important trade fair in this sector.
Now I have to say, you are right and I am happy to have been here.” Arno Kruth from Toxic Bikes was also overjoyed as a participant in the show, after all he won the EUROPEAN BIKER BUILD-OFF 2014 against the Spaniard Sergio Bayarri from Sbay Motor Company.
After the American team led by Bill Dodge canceled two weeks before the start of the trade fair due to problems with the customs authorities, the Toxic Bikes team stepped in and surprised with a perfect performance.
During the three days of the trade fair, both teams built a spectacular custom bike in front of the audience. In the end, the Spanish team ran out of time; In the end, the futuristic V2 racer was simply not ready to drive. Either way, the audience's favor was on the side of the North German mechanics, who triumphed with their old-school Harley by a surprisingly large margin.
For the participants of the International Custombike Championship Germany (ICCG), the CUSTOMBIKE SHOW is both a benchmark and a platform. A victory in one of the 17 categories is like an accolade. This year's winners belong to the highest league of motorcycle construction.
