DEMO AGAINST MOTORCYCLE BAN'S HAMBURG
July 4th is just the beginning of further protests against the introduction of motorcycle driving bans in Germany. Thousands of motorcyclists drove to the rallies in numerous cities today. Some of the well-known motorcycle meeting points went on a rally to the big cities. The demo was banned in Munich, but it couldn't really be prevented.
Goosebumps FEELING ON THE A7
In Hamburg things were a little more relaxed and one could say noticeably inconspicuous. Early in the morning, for example, the groups moved in small numbers from the north, first coming together in Neumünster and then suddenly there were more and more. The end of the bikers could no longer be seen on the A7, which gave me goosebumps.
THE MEETING POINT WAS THE REEPERBAHN
The meeting point was the Reeperbahn, it was closed to traffic on both sides. The police were calm and did a good job so far. Ultimately, you could see that they had a very close eye on the situation; in Schleswig-Holstein, there were vehicles everywhere on the main roads to accurately assess the situation. The weather didn't really cooperate, but it was perhaps a good thing that not every biker found the time on Saturday.
NO ONE SHOULD UNDERESTATE THE MOTORCYCLING COMMUNITY!
However, politicians would be well advised not to underestimate the issue of motorcyclists, because this is about something more than a simple hobby. I don't know any tennis players who tattoo the brand of their tennis racket on their skin. Motorcyclists' mood can change very quickly and they are not the only ones in the republic who are dissatisfied with political developments.
If among the bikers there is a showman who doesn't know what to do because there are no events, or a technician who has just lost his job at Bosch because of the campaign against diesel, the situation gets hot, you just have to see and in the end they all stick together.

But as already mentioned at the beginning, there was nothing spectacular to report in Hamburg, the organizers brought up a stage and provided music. Kalle Haverland and a viewer shared their opinion, the other speakers got stuck in a traffic jam somewhere outside the gates of Hamburg, that can happen, but no matter, the first signal was made today! #not with us
WE ARE MORE THAN 4.5 MILLION
In general, we are talking about 4.5 million motorcyclists, I would say there are a few more, because the numbers do not include seasonal license plates, nor passengers, nor those who cannot afford to ride a motorcycle at the moment. And as we know, more and more bikers share the hobby with their partner and go on vacation together on the motorcycle, for example. It's a shame for the restaurateurs, hoteliers and cafe operators, and it's also a shame for the industry and motorcycle dealers.
A HUGE INDUSTRY IS UNDER ATTACK
Because if it really happens that over the next few years there will be more and more driving bans for motorcyclists on weekends, no one will put a machine in their garage anymore, because we are also talking about values here! Riding a motorcycle is not cheap and the clientele is generally the middle class with purchasing power, on which an entire industry depends.
Next, the manufacturers would actually have to position themselves in order to build up more pressure in the media, the Bild newspaper has not yet uttered a syllable about this. Sarah Connor went swimming naked in Iceland, which is probably worth reading for the Bild newspaper. I think that everything is underestimated, let's wait and see for the next few weeks, because the demos won't stop and in Berlin people quickly drove up on two wheels!
We stay tuned!

Respect tens of thousands of bikers demonstrating for their rights!
When Trump does politics in Tyrol.
Goodbye TÜV 1 2 3
Goodbye manufacturer typing
Goodbye principle of equality
If a look at the approval is enough 96 dbA = 220.- €
Then I also want to be punished as a speeder.
Top speed 202 KMh I drive this regularly even in urban areas! Tyrol no thanks, I'll take my money to where I'm a guest in summer and winter!

I'm also out in Tyrol with my new S1000RR and its 98 db stationary noise. The sheer mockery of making a driving ban dependent on stationary noise. We all know that we can drive a motorcycle under 95 db up and down the mountain passes as loud as hell. How can something so factually incorrect come to be ordered? This cannot be understood with common sense. Added to this are the many controls. It may well be that you will now be stopped several times a day to show your papers. What else do we have to offer? Avoiding the green Tyrol sounds good at first, but be careful, if we quietly “give up” on Tyrol, then the madness will continue to spread and other countries, cities and municipalities will follow suit with such driving bans. This has to be prevented and this can only be done with presence and protest, otherwise our opportunities to ride a moped will become more and more restricted. I hope the Austrian bikers show solidarity and organize themselves accordingly.
At the very latest when, contrary to expectations, the driving bans on Sundays and public holidays are enforced, we will be left with the fight on the road... and Saturdays! By then at the latest we will have to take to the streets in large numbers, into the big cities, together, united and in thousands. Take a look at what went on on the Mittlerer Ring in Munich yesterday after the ban on demos. Chaos, standstill, media presence. And completely legal. What a strange child with his following can do, we motorcyclists have been able to do for a long time. Keep on rockin' in the free world...
Even though I don't ride a Harley and my heart is more attached to super athletes, I like this site so much that I would like to leave a comment that I already posted on NDR. One can only hope that the responsible federal ministry and thus Mr. Scheuer actually know how to prevent the political implementation of this green-left madness. The liberal and economic development in this country is experiencing increasingly negative developments due to green-left politics, whose political power is increasingly being strengthened by a young electorate that is politically and economically uneducated and therefore very one-sided and focused on environmental issues. If, contrary to expectations, driving bans on Sundays and public holidays are implemented, the only answer we have is with the means... and Saturdays!
Thank you very much.
That doesn't matter if you don't ride a Harley, as there are plenty of other people reading here who drive motorcycles from other manufacturers. Right now we have to stick together, otherwise we will immediately lose. After all, we all love riding motorbikes and we want to continue doing so in the years to come. Keep on rockin' in the free world... 💪
Great job, Northern Lights!
Who will take the initiative in Stuttgart, Freiburg, Konstanz, Mannheim, Heidelberg, Ulm, Karlsruhe etc.
Couldn't the Harley chapters take the lead?
Suggestion: Rally to Stuttgart next Saturday!!! Right in front of the Ministry of Transport.
Yes. I feel the same way! Don't let it please you!!
It's actually a shame why there wasn't a demo in Thuringia.
Probably none of the bikers and clubs here are interested and are hibernating.
If the bans really come, then it's too late.
The shot backfired! Politicians and parties tried to use motorcyclists to get votes. Elections are coming soon. Guys, think carefully about who you vote for! Keep it up.
That was an experience, 1000 motorcycles were expected in Düsseldorf. There were around 10,000. Everything was extremely organized.
I think it's great what you're doing against the driving ban on motorcycles. I'm also getting my motorcycle license in August and would like to be able to ride on the weekends afterwards, so we can't just put up with everything politics does.
Don't let this beautiful hobby be taken away so easily.
It is in your hands.
Very good.
Don't let yourself be turned into immature citizens. But I have no concerns about moped drivers.
I got my B196 2 months ago and I'm only able to drive on the weekend because I'm one of those people who spend a whole week on the road so that most people can go shopping and nobody asks me about disturbing the peace, it's just a given many egoists
