Preparations for the Harley Dome Cologne are in full swing

- Party for the 111th Harley birthday from May 23 to 25 in Cologne

2014 is the 111th year in the history of Harley-Davidson, and because the city of Cologne, with its foolish „fifth season“, has a particularly close relationship with such „non-round“ numbers, it made sense to celebrate a huge birthday party in the Rhineland metropolis: from Friday, May 23rd to Sunday, May 25th, Cologne is paying homage to the US brand and the pure fun of life. On Friday evening, Harley-Davidson will be celebrated in pubs, clubs and restaurants for the „hundredth“. At the Meet & Greet Party in the Hard Rock Cafe Hank Davison takes to the stage. Brauhaus Sion invites you to a brewery tour and a movie night and the Hilton, one of the event's partner hotels, serves ice-cold cocktails in its bar, which has been specially set up for the bikers.

On Saturday, the central event site - the Tanzbrunnen directly on the banks of the Rhine - opens its doors from 10 am. The view of landmarks such as the cathedral and the old town leaves no doubt that you are in the middle of one of Germany's most popular cities. Visitors can look forward to a large trading area with accessory, fashion and food stands. A whole armada of current Harley models will be available for test rides, the ADAC will be on site with a rollover simulator and Jeep will be presenting itself on an adventure course. A personal highlight will be experienced by a biker couple who want to say "I do" at the event.

The big parade over two Rhine bridges and the Cologne Ringe will start at 12 noon, with motorcyclists demonstrating against intolerance in road traffic, and Ten Years After, Hank Davison, Heart and Soul and AC/BC will rock the open-air stage from 2 pm. Meanwhile, fans of exclusive motorcycle conversions will get their money's worth at the top-class custom bike show. From 10 p.m., it's chill and party time at the Tanzbrunnen and the Cologne Beach Club next door. On Sunday, the party continues from 10 am to 5 pm on the Tanzbrunnen grounds - accompanied by a live Cologne music program with Kasalla, Cat Ballou and Miljö.

The Harley Dome Cologne welcomes not only motorcycle fans and bikers of all brands, but also the citizens and visitors of the cathedral city as well as all lovers of the „American way of life“. More Harley, more Cologne and more „unround“ birthday in one weekend is not possible. Tickets are available from
