POL-KI: Traffic accident with seriously injured person

Dobersdorf (ots): Last Friday, a motorcyclist had an accident on district road 31 in Dobersdorf / Lilienthal. A rescue helicopter took the seriously injured man to a hospital in Kiel.

On May 17, 2024 at around 7:30 p.m., a 63-year-old was driving his motorcycle on district road 31 in the direction of Rastorfer Kreuz (editor's note, meeting point for motorcyclists) . According to initial findings, the motorcyclist collided with a deer immediately behind the town sign and then fell. The man was seriously injured in the fall. Emergency medical first aid was provided on site. A rescue helicopter took the accident victim to a hospital in Kiel. The deer died at the scene of the accident. The Schwentinental police station has started the investigation.
