POL-KI: Traffic accident with seriously injured person

Dobersdorf (ots): Last Friday, a motorcyclist had an accident on the district road 31 in Dobersdorf / Lilienthal. A rescue helicopter took the seriously injured man to a hospital in Kiel.

On 17.05.24 at around 19:30, a 63-year-old man was driving his motorcycle on the Kreisstraße 31 in the direction of Rastorfer Kreuz (Editor's note, meeting point for motorcyclists). According to initial findings, the motorcyclist collided with a deer immediately behind the town sign and crashed as a result. The man was seriously injured as a result of the fall. Emergency first aid was provided at the scene. A rescue helicopter took the casualty to a hospital in Kiel. The deer died at the scene of the accident. The Schwentinental police station has taken up the investigation.
