Donate and win
Do something good this Christmas with a donation to the DRK Children's Hospital and win a Harley-Davidson
(Siegen, December 4, 2013) Christmas time is donation time. The DRK Children's Hospital Siegen has also always benefited from the willingness to donate in the region. Although it achieved good results last year as a result of consolidation, the economic situation of this hospital remains tense. The clinic therefore reminds all bikers and those who perhaps still dream of owning their own motorcycle of their big “motorcycle fundraiser” (www.spendenaktion-motorrad.de), which is now entering its final phase. Everyone who takes part is doing good and also has the chance to win a Harley-Davidson or one of more than twenty other attractive prizes.
The clinic recently found a prominent supporter in Susan Albers. Although singing, which she has now turned into a career, is her biggest hobby, the young lady from Rhede also likes hot stoves: “I've been fascinated by motorbikes for a long time, but unfortunately I hardly ever get around to going for a ride anymore. In any case, I think your Harley is very successful,” says Susan, praising her impressions after the photo shoot on the Seventy-Two. No wonder, because the machine donated by Harley-Davidson Germany was refined by Thunderbike (Harley-Davidson Niederrhein), one of the world's leading motorcycle customizers. Dr. Jekill & Mr. Hyde fitted it with a sonorous custom exhaust system, and Kruse Design gave it a brilliant paint job - now it serves as the grand prize of the motorcycle fundraiser.
Arnd Dickel, spokesman for the DRK Children's Clinic in Siegen, explains: “Our campaign not only provides small and large patients, but also all two-wheeler fans, who get their money's worth. With a little luck, everyone who donates can win one of the many prizes with a total value of around 20,000 euros that have been made available by the German motorcycle industry.” Not only is the already mentioned Harley-Davidson Seventy-Two impressive, the other prizes are also impressive: Dunlop, one of the leading tire manufacturers, is donating a set of youngtimer tires.
Ilmberger Carbonparts, a specialist in high-quality carbon fiber parts, is offering a voucher for a carbon fender. Jon Doe, an authority on textile motorcycle clothing, is donating a hoodie, a jacket and five tunnels. Louis, Europe's number 1 for motorcycles and leisure, is providing a goods voucher worth 1,000 euros. Oil and care products professional Motorex is contributing twelve motorcycle cleaning sets. Clothing professional Rokker provides trousers, a T-shirt and a jacket. The motorcycle clothing specialists at rukka add three pairs of high-quality motorcycle gloves. And 24helmets.de provides a voucher for 250 euros.
Every cent raised through the fundraising campaign will benefit the DRK Children's Hospital Siegen. Interested parties can find the conditions of participation and further information about all prices on the website www.spendenaktion-motorrad.de. Anyone who wants to take part should transfer at least 5 euros to the DRK Children's Clinic Siegen using the keyword “Harley” and stating their name and address to Volksbank Siegerland account number 765 123 605 (bank code: 460 600 40).
