New Dr. Jekill & Mr. Hyde Smartbox software for Euro 5 Plus and R41.05 systems
The exhaust specialists at Dr. Jekill & Mr. Hyde have introduced a new Smartbox software update optimized for Euro 5 Plus and R41.05 models from Harley-Davidson, BMW Motorrad, and Indian. The results are immediately apparent on the road. Throttle response is smoother, the sound is finely tuned, and the systems remain fully street legal.
Designed for real driving situations
The Smartbox module controls the electronically adjustable exhaust system in real time. While official tests are conducted with a constant throttle position, driving on the road involves constant acceleration, coasting, and braking. This is exactly what the new software responds to. It recognizes real driving behavior, compares it with the test specifications, and adjusts the flap control accordingly. This results in fewer unnecessary flap movements, more precise throttle response, and a more homogeneous and natural sound. The Euro 5 Plus specifications are complied with at all times.
Noticeable improvements on the road
The software was developed based on many kilometers of testing and direct feedback. This is immediately apparent on the road. The machines run more smoothly, the sound is more harmonious, and the overall driving experience feels more direct and emotional. Anyone who spends a lot of time on the road will quickly notice the difference.
Update recommendation
The update is not mandatory. If you are satisfied with your current configuration, you can continue to use it. However, if you want to get the most out of response speed, acceleration, and acoustic fine-tuning, you will clearly benefit from the new software version for Euro 5 Plus.
Availability
All systems delivered since September already have the new software installed. Older systems can be retrofitted with a new Smartbox via the dealer. The Smartbox is available from authorized Dr. Jekill & Mr. Hyde partners.
