Dunlop tire approvals for American Elite Harley-Davidson motorcycles.

With the American Elite, Dunlop has added a latest-generation custom tire to its range that has been specially developed for Harley-Davidson models. With a total of 28 sizes, Dunlop offers owners of a wide variety of Harley models a successful all-round performance combining grip, handling, stability, and mileage for even greater safety and riding pleasure.

The American Elite is the only Harley tire for the replacement market that is developed and produced in the USA, complementing the Harley-Davidson original equipment tires from Dunlop with a modern and high-performance custom tire.

There are new legal requirements for tire approvals in 2020! The new requirement is that TÜV approval will now be required for any change in tire size. The full extent of this requirement is not yet clear; as of mid-January, TÜV Nord was unable to provide any information on this topic, at least when asked. More information will follow shortly!
