Harley-Davidson introduces the updated Dyna Street Bob and the new Sportster 1200 Custom A and B models.
What would life be without a spark of individuality? Exactly! That's why Harley-Davidson has launched its 110th anniversary edition just in time for its 110th anniversary.
To mark the company's anniversary, the distinctive Dyna Street Bob has been given an even more striking design and two special editions of the popular Sportster 1200 Custom have been launched.
The purist Dyna, the Street Bob, is more minimalist than ever in 2013.
To match the black Twin Cam 96, whose upper cooling fins have been polished, the designers have now dipped their dip tubes and triple clamps in black. A new, vibration-isolated riser supports the mini ape handlebars with internal cable routing. Not only the new black tank console, seat cover, and black battery cover are particularly sleek and clean, but also the rear: instead of a conventional taillight, the machine now has turn signals with integrated brake lights and taillights.
The range of paint colors for the Dyna Street Bob includes the popular matte black Denim tone and will be expanded for 2013 to include the new Hard Candy Custom Metalflake variant „Big Red Flake“ in a seventies look with extra-large metallic particles.
A newly designed Harley-Davidson tank emblem in a classic cast design rounds off the clean-cut look. Three members of the family—the Dyna Switchback, Wide Glide, and Fat Bob models—will be powered by the high-torque Twin Cam 103 engine in 2013.
The Sportster 1200 Custom is an extremely maneuverable street machine with a uniquely powerful look. For 2013, Harley-Davidson is also offering it in two Factory Custom Limited Editions: as the „XL 1200CA“ in a red and black Nascar look with custom graphics, black five-spoke cast wheels, drag-style handlebars, and a matte black engine. And as the „XL 1200CB“ in matte black custom paint with black wire-spoke wheels, mini ape handlebars, and forward footpegs.
Like all Harley-Davidson models, the new Sportster models feature practical features such as the Smart Security System, which automatically activates and deactivates the immobilizer and alarm system.
Harley-Davidson offers a two-year warranty with unlimited mileage, one year of membership in the Harley Owners Group, and one year of mobility guarantee.
On October 6, 2012, Harley-Davidson's Open House Day, the first new models will be available at authorized dealers.
