Easy Rider legend Dennis Hopper is dead

It was announced on Saturday that Easy Rider legend Dennis Hopper has died of cancer at the age of 74. Hopper spent his last hours at home in Venice, near Los Angeles, with his family. The actor and director became world famous with the movie Easy Rider, and together with Peter Fonda and Jack Nicholson they ignited a new Harley-Davidson era.

The fire is still blazing today, there are beautiful replicas as stand models or true-to-original machines from the legendary movie. You can see them in painted pictures or as an airbrush, it's just something special.

What happens now? Isn't the Billy Bike part of his grave? Not to forget his leather hat, his motto was „Born to be Wild“, he enjoyed his life and achieved everything, a Hollywood star of a special kind is now embarking on his last ride.

I'd love to be at his funeral, but a trip to LA is out of the question. Here's another clip from the movie.
