Easy Rider legend Dennis Hopper is dead
On Saturday it was announced that Easy Rider legend Dennis Hopper died of cancer at the age of 74. Hopper spent his final hours at home in Venice, near Los Angeles, with his family. The actor and director became world famous through the film Easy Rider, together with Peter Fonda and Jack Nicholson they ignited a new Harley-Davidson era.
The fire is still blazing today, there are beautiful replicas as standing models or true-to-original machines from the legendary film. You can see them in painted pictures or as airbrushes, it's just something special.
What's happening now? Isn't the Billy Bike part of his grave? Not to forget his leather hat, his motto was “Born to be Wild”, he enjoyed his life and achieved everything, a very special Hollywood star is now embarking on his last journey.
I would like to be there at his funeral, but a trip to LA isn't in the cards. Here you can find another film excerpt.
