European Bike Week 2021 is still being planned

In Austria today, various reports on the European Bike Week 2021, when asked by Harley-Davidson about the current assessment of the situation and what the news about the European Bike Week the following official announcement was made:

We are sticking with „Faak“ and are working on the planning - in the hope that the event can take place this year. We also want to make long-term plans for this important event for Harley-Davidson and are pleased about the good cooperation with the Austrian state of Carinthia. We are unable to provide any information on contractual agreements.

This message was preceded by a statement from Lisa Wacha, Lead Customer Experience at Harley-Davidson Germany GmbH

Confidence against uncertainty! „We don't have a crystal ball either and don't know how the situation will develop this year, but we remain optimistic!“ 

What does that tell us! Harley-Davidson would like to, but will not expose visitors to the European Bike Week to any risk. If the safety concepts make it possible to hold the event and the situation generally eases again, they will make it possible. The decision will be made in July/August at the latest.

Hamburg Harley Days

With the Hamburg Harley Days verhält es sich ähnlich. Im Hintergrund hält man nach ersten Informationen ebenfalls an der Veranstaltung in Hamburg fest. Die Harley Days können nur mit einem aufwendigen Sicherheitskonzept ermöglicht werden. Es wird an verschiedenen Konzepten gearbeitet, aber auch hier muss man erst sehen, wann die Lage sich endlich wieder entspannt.
