European Bike Week 2021 is taking place

In the last Harleysite Video News I already talked about the fact that Harley-Davidson the popular Harley meeting and the European Bike Week in Austria at Lake Faaker See . Now it's official, because Harley-Davidson has officially announced that the European Bike Week 2021 will be starting at Lake Faaker See. It's starting from September 7th to 12th, 2021, the hammer has fallen and everything is set to go!

In Austria, the incidence numbers continue to fall, the vaccination program is also going well and those responsible see no reason why the European Bike Week should not take place in 2021. Harley-Davidson is aware of the great responsibility towards its fans, in consultation with the authorities and Carinthia Advertising, the safe holding of the Harley-Davidson event discussed in many conversations.

In my conversations with Kolja Rebstock (Regional Vice President of Harley-Davidson) in April, it was already clear that, taking all aspects into account, everything should be done this year to make the event take place. This sad sight from the European Bike Week event area in 2020 should not be repeated this year.

If something changes during the pandemic, we will adjust accordingly, but so far we do not assume that it will be necessary and we would like to finally allow the Harley-Davidson event experience to take place as before, if possible. As things stand today, the surrounding restaurants will also be open again as usual.

It's certainly a good sign for everyone that things are moving forward again, with a little care and personal responsibility, it's a good thing. I was also on Lake Faaker See in 2020, we went on great tours and discovered the beautiful area, of course it wasn't like usual, but with a little restraint, we still had a nice tour. And this year it's going a step further again, I'm optimistic and happy to finally be able to see a lot of Harleys in one place again!
