VIENNA (9.8.2023) - In the first full week of September of a historic year for the brand, Harley-Davidson will once again be celebrating at Lake Faak in Austria. And one thing is already certain: after the worldwide parties to mark the company's 120th anniversary - including the European 120th Anniversary Event in Budapest in June and the Harley-Davidson Homecoming in Milwaukee in July - Europe's traditionally largest motorcycle festival with free admission will once again prove to be a crowd-puller for bikers and fans from all over the world.

Year after year, the European Bike Week marks the end of the motorcycle season in Europe. In addition to Harley-Davidson fans, there are also numerous fans of other brands, as the journey to the event takes most bikers through some of the most breathtaking landscapes on the continent. And on site in Carinthia, the iconic lake circuit, past the famous Harleywood lettering, and highlights such as the large Harley-Davidson sculpture at the entrance to the town are just as enticing as the winding roads amidst a spectacular Alpine panorama.
Three anniversaries are on the agenda in Faak in 2023: the event itself will be a quarter of a century old, rounding off the series of parties in Europe to mark the 120th anniversary of Harley-Davidson and celebrating the first 40 years of the Harley Owners Group. There will be plenty on offer: The Expo will feature the new CVO Street Glide and CVO Road Glide models, the most technologically advanced Grand American Touring bikes Harley-Davidson has ever produced. Also new is the Adventure Zone, an off-road area in the heart of the European Bike Week grounds.
Here you can meet the Dakar champs Joan Pedrero from Spain and Mick Extance from Great Britain as well as the German off-road pro Ralf Wiesenfeller, who offer off-road tutorials and show what the Pan America 1250 is capable of.
A wide range of current Harley-Davidson Sport, Cruiser, Grand American Touring and Adventure Touring bikes will be available for test rides and the Expo will also feature the exclusive H-D 120th Anniversary models.

In addition to the bikers, their many bikes - including the vintage bikes in the corresponding exhibition - are of course also among the stars of the event. On Friday, the most elaborate conversions will compete for the coveted trophies in the Custom Bike Show supported by Metzeler. Fifteen prizes will be awarded in six categories, including the Best in Show and the People's Choice Award. One day later, the big parade will take place, cheered on by countless spectators and featuring thousands of motorcycles from all brands.
Powerful live bands rock two stages every evening until after midnight. More than 100 stands - such as those of Harley-Davidson fashion and parts dealers, car partner Ford, tire professional Metzeler as well as numerous caterers and bartenders, including the newly designed Saloon Bar - invite you to take a relaxed stroll, store and enjoy.
Kolja Rebstock, Regional Vice President Europe, Middle East and Africa, is already looking forward to the event: „We have already experienced a lot in this year of our 120th company anniversary, but I am particularly pleased to invite all motorcycle fans to the first quarter of a century of the European Bike Week in Faak. Ride safe, ride free - see you at Lake Faak.“ Further information can be found at www.harley-davidson.com.
