HARLEY-DAVIDSON ANNOUNCES NEW EUROPEAN BIKE WEEK CUSTOM MASTERS 2021
UPDATE August 13, 2021 – The bike show will not be held in 2021!
Europe's largest, brand-specific motorcycle festival, European Bike Week ®, returns from September 7th to 12th, 2021. This year, Harley-Davidson is pleased to announce a brand new professional custom motorcycle exhibition and competition: European Bike Week Custom Masters. Dealers and refiners from all over Europe, the Middle East and Africa are invited to present their most beautiful creations for this four-day presentation from Wednesday September 8th to Saturday September 11th. The Custom Masters show is located near the entrance to the main event area and will have a limited number of bikes, so pre-registration is essential. Motorcycles entered must have the original Harley-Davidson engine and chassis numbers - however, modifications to the motorcycles with Harley-Davidson® and/or third-party components and custom designs are permitted. Motorcycles that have previously competed in competitions such as the Battle of the Kings are welcome, including all Sportster®, Cruiser, Touring, Heritage Customs and derivatives.
All entered motorcycles will be presented to the public before, during and after the event, with interviews conducted with manufacturers and owners, shared on on-site screens, via social media and in The Enthusiast™. These will be supported with a press release and photos, including photo opportunities with HD employees, including EMEA Vice President Kolja Rebstock and guests from the Milwaukee team.
Four main prizes will be awarded:
Best design concept
Best technology
Best color/graphics
Best in show
Where appropriate, additional jury recommendations will be awarded to give further recognition to outstanding buildings not covered by the main prizes. The awards ceremony will take place on Saturday evening on the main stage.
Dealers and independent customizers can submit their proposed Custom Masters from July 21 to August 6, 2021 by email to Cu ********** @ ************ on.com . Anyone who has registered before August 6 will take part in an internal selection process at Harley-Davidson and the finalists will be contacted until Wednesday, August 11th to confirm participation. Successful Custom Masters participants have to take their own insurance and transport measures, but there will be a special, covered exhibition area with safety precautions for the duration of the show.
