EUROPEAN BIKE WEEK ON LAKE FAAKER STILL IN RACING!
Austria will open its borders again from June 15th, and the Austrian government has decided to fully open the country to German traffic again from mid-June. This is intended to give tourism a positive impulse in particular, which is also a very important sign for the European Bike Week at Lake Faaker See 2020.
As already reported in advance, Harley-Davidson and the region at Lake Faaker See are doing everything in their power to ensure that the event in Austria takes place under special safety precautions to protect health, if necessary.
Switzerland and Liechtenstein are to follow gradually. The development of the other neighboring countries will continue to be monitored; a new decision will be made once it is certain that the infection rates there are also declining. As is well known, the coronavirus has hit particularly hard in Spain, Italy and France. In Austria, people will not take any risks and will keep an eye on the situation.
Tourism is a fundamentally important factor for Austria, which makes it all the more important to gradually revive the industry!
So far it looks good for us that at least the Harley-Davidson meeting at Lake Faaker See can take place as planned.
