IN 2024 EUROPEAN BIKE WEEK WILL CELEBRATE WILLIE G. DAVIDSON

Visitors can also look forward to thousands of bikes, lots of live acts, drone shows, guided tours and numerous other highlights

FRANKFURT (08/12/2024) – The European Bike Week in Faak am See September 3rd to 8th, 2024 . Last year, Harley-Davidson celebrated the 25th anniversary of this major event for everyone who loves hot bikes, cool music and a strong festival atmosphere. With free entry, Europe's largest motorcycle party, where celebrations take place almost around the clock, attracts guests from all over the world - regardless of which motorcycle brand they prefer.

This year the Motor Company celebrates Willie G. Davidson. He is the grandson of one of the company's founders, was the brand's head of styling from 1963 to 2012 and became a living legend for its fans. The European Bike Week honors the designer and artist with images and activities such as the presentation of a limited clothing series and the exhibition of various motorcycles designed by Willie G. in the Classic Bike Expo.

Fun and action also dominate the rest of the 40,000 square meter Harley Village. One of the highlights is the Harley-Davidson Expo with the current 2024 bikes. Of course, these also include the new Street Glide and Road Glide, powered by the Milwaukee-Eight 117 V-Twin, which are more powerful, lighter and more dynamic than all their predecessors. Harley-Davidson fashion and motorcycle clothing, accessories and event fashion are available at the many authorized dealers and in the event merchandise tent. 

For customers who are looking for adventure beyond paved roads, the Offroad Zone was established in the heart of Harley Village. Here, European off-road pros offer shows and tutorials on the HD Pan America 1250 Special. This year the Adventure Zone will be led by the exceptional talents Mick Extance (Great Britain), Ralf Wiesenfeller (Germany) and Marco Belli (Italy) as well as the HD Offroad Ambassador, rally legend Joan Pedrero (Spain).

If you want to test one of the current Harley-Davidson models yourself, pay a visit to the HD Demo Zone. A wide range of 2024 bikes from the Sport, Cruiser, Grand American Touring and Adventure Touring series are available for test rides here. Meanwhile, visitors who don't yet have a driving license can hop on the authentic Jumpstart driving simulator. And on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, the Carinthia Chapter Austria of the Harley Owners Group ensures that guests get to know the most beautiful motorcycle routes in the area on guided tours. 

Of course, entertainment until well after midnight is also popular in Harley Village - for example at the more than 100 dealers, caterers and bars. The two main stages, on which 40 live gigs will take place, can be found in the large tents called Harley Bar and Saloon Bar. The headliners include the celebrated band Stiletto, who will take the stage at the Harley Bar on Saturday, September 7th. Between the live performances, the pyro shows with their rhythmically swirling flames and the drone shows with their breathtaking light effects guarantee pure fascination on Friday and Saturday nights.

On Friday, September 6th, the Custom Bike Show sponsored by Metzeler will take place, where spectacular conversions and impressive vintage cars will be the talk of the town. And on Saturday, September 7th, the big parade for everything with two wheels and an engine will take place, supported by Dunlop and cheered by thousands of spectators. 

It is already certain that the European Bike Week will put a big grin on the faces of its guests. And one visitor will have it even bigger than everyone else, because he can take home the prize in this year's competition: a brand new Harley-Davidson.
