PREPARATIONS FOR THE 30TH EUROPEAN RALLY OF THE HARLEY OWNERS GROUP IN ITALY ARE IN FULL SPEED
Lifestyle, music and action are on the summer agenda for Senigallia
FRANKFURT (02/04/2024) – Harley-Davidson has big plans for the 30th European Harley Owners Group (HOG) Rally, which will take place for the first time in Senigallia, Italy, from June 6th to 9th, 2024.
The annual European HOG Rally is a free travel event for all motorcycle fans, no matter what brand they prefer. It takes place at a different location every year and regularly attracts over 50,000 motorcyclists, Harley-Davidson fans and members of the Harley Owners Group.
This year the event is taking place for the 30th time. The scene is the historic port city of Senigallia in the Marche region, near Ancona and less than two hours south of Bologna.
In addition to action around HOG and Harley-Davidson, visitors can look forward to, among other things, strong music, excellent Italian cuisine, exciting entertainment and cool shopping. To make the event a spectacular and unforgettable event for all guests, the Motor Company works with several regional companies.
Since rock 'n' roll and Harley-Davidson simply belong together, a suitable location was found for the main stage: it will be built on the central Piazza Garibaldi. Surrounded by historical buildings, Italian and international bands will take the microphone alongside the headliners on the impressive square on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. DJ Ringo, Virgin Radio's creative director, is putting together the program, which will be released shortly.
Adventure and freedom are part of Harley-Davidson's DNA. Visitors can therefore experience an off-road experience on the Pan America 1250 Special, the adventure tourer from Harley-Davidson. In cooperation with the Italian “Di Traverso – Adventouring” academy, the manufacturer offers half-day guided trips on the road and on “Strada Bianci” off-road tracks, during which participants explore the best off-road routes in the region. Both riders of HD Pan America models and owners of adventure touring bikes from other brands are invited.
It is a matter of honor that Dakar professional Joan Pedrero will also be present at the rally. Just recently, the daring Spaniard finished the 15th edition of the Africa Eco Race Harley-Davidson Pan America 1250 in first place in the Maxitrail category and 25th in the overall ranking. Of course, no HOG Rally would be complete without the big HD Parade, which will see thousands of bikes roll through the center of Senigallia and past several historic sites on Saturday June 8th. And of course, all fans are invited to present their converted machines at the custom bike show taking place on Friday, June 7th in Piazza Garibaldi.
