Pula Arena – Custom Bike Show by Metzler

The Arena in Pula, where the Custom Bike Show takes place, is the only Roman amphitheater with four completely preserved side towers. The structure dates back to between 27 BC and 68 AD and is one of the six largest Roman arenas in the world that are still standing today.

HHarley-Davidson parade along the waterfront promenade of Pula

On Saturday, the big Harley-Davidson parade will wind its way along Pula's historic waterfront promenade. The number of participants is limited – anyone who wants to ride along must obtain an official wristband in advance from the H.O.G. Zone in the Shopping Village.

The lineup begins at 10:00 a.m. on Svetog Petra Street in Pula (postcode 52100). The parade lasts about one and a half to two hours and ends at the main event site of the H.O.G. Rally in Medulin.

Test drives with the 2025 Harley-Davidson models

A total of 14 models from the 2025 line-up are available for test drives, in around 35 variants. Bookings can be made online, the link is available. First come, first served.

Riding Academy - Slow Riding Training

Near the main stage, you can improve your slow riding skills.
- Morning training: 10:00 to 12:00
- Afternoon training: 13:00 to 15:00

Pan America Experience - off-road action in Medulin

Guided by Ralf „Ralle“ Wiesenfeller, you can test the Pan America on a specially selected off-road track.

My personal route to Medulin

I went to Medulin ahead of time to check out the area and bring you my first impressions. In my new MotorVlog on YouTube, I show the direct route from Ljubljana (Slovenia) to Medulin. After that, I drove back north along the Croatian west coast – with a short detour to Portorož (Slovenia) and from there to Lake Faaker See.

Traveling from Germany to Medulin – tips for the journey

The journey to Medulin is a real adventure that takes you through several countries. One possible route is:

• Germany – Munich – Salzburg – Villach – Ljubljana – Medulin
• Alternatively, you can use Entering Italy (Trieste) and drive along the coast

Important information for motorcyclists traveling to Croatia

• Toll: Croatian, Slovenian, Swiss and Austrian Tolls are charged on highways, with motorcycles paying a reduced rate.
• Speed limits:
  • In built-up areas: 50 km/h
  • Outside built-up areas: 90 km/h
  • Expressways: 110 km/h
  • Highways: 80 mph
• Helmet requirement: Applies to drivers and passengers.
• Safety vest: Must be carried, but only to be used in an emergency.
• Refueling: Credit cards work almost everywhere, but smaller gas stations in rural areas may only accept cash.

My personal tip is, if you're already here, just plan a few extra days and continue south. The route from Medulin to Zadar, for example, turns out to be one of the most beautiful motorcycle routes in Europe, at least from Rijeka onwards. On this stretch, you ride along the Adriatic Highway, which is really amazing to ride in the sunshine. I have already published a tour report on this.
