FH-DCE Super Rally 2024 Czechia

Every year at a different location in Europe is the motto of the FH-DCE Super Rally organizers. In 2023, the last party was held in Greece, and at Pentecost 2024, the Super Rally 2024 will take place in Pasohlávky, Czechia.

What awaits you at the Super Rally

Traditionally, it's more the old school crowd that attends the Super Rally, which is also the beauty of this event. Lots of old Harleys that arrive under their own steam – it's a bit of a tougher trip, but that also reflects the character of the visitors.

The admission price to the event site in 2024 is expected to be around €85 (not yet known). The FH-DCE Super Rally® is an association of Harley-Davidson Clubs from Europe and runs under the name Federation Harley-Davidson Clubs Europe, the origin goes back to the 60/70s.

There's no glitz and glamour at the Super Rally; here, they still try to uphold tradition, which is why many people sleep in tents on the event grounds or next to their Harleys. A large party tent with a decent rock program, plenty of drinks, and a regional breakfast the next morning, and everyone is happy. They only allow Harley-Davidson motorcycles on the event grounds, and they also mention Indian on their website, which I find rather unusual.

Traveling by motorcycle in Czechia:

The currency here is the Czech koruna, but you can pay by card almost everywhere in the country. It is not yet known how this will be handled at the Super Rally, but at Prague Harley Days they use a chip system.

In Czechia, they charge tolls, but motorcycles do not need a ticket. You must have first aid supplies with you; I would recommend a small set with a safety vest for your bag. Your helmet should comply with ECE standard 22. Well, who would have thought that anyone still riding with incandescent bulbs should definitely have a box of bulbs in their luggage.

In general, I haven't had any problems on my trips with the Harley in Czechia, nor have I heard of any. Especially in Prague, they tend to close the roads for bikers because otherwise they wouldn't be able to get off the event grounds without traffic jams. I happened to see this when a patrol car stopped. Obviously, they are very relaxed there.
