Prague Harley Days 2026
September 4 - September 5

Prague Harley Days 2026 will take place from September 04 to 05, 2026
14th Prague Harley Days 2026
This year, the Prague Harley Days is being held for the 14th time. A beautiful city welcomes the Harley bikers. The capital of the Czech Republic has about 1.2 million inhabitants and the Prague Harley Days take place in the city center, an extensive program awaits you.
What seems to be new this year is that the event will only take place over two days. The shortening to two days could be due to organizational adjustments or a changed event concept. The weekend ticket for men will cost 777CZK (approx. 31€) and women will be admitted free of charge. 1 CZK = 0.0399 EUR
The town and the surrounding area have a lot to offer bikers, and it's well worth staying a few extra days. They celebrate a week before the European Bike Week, You either have to make a decision or just keep going afterwards! I've been to both events in recent years and have put together a very nice tour every time.
Prague is a great city, there are many hotspots and plenty of accommodation that can be booked via the well-known portals.

Prague Harley Days 2026
The event itself takes place in a very large area. There's a great bike show and lots of cool bikes to see in general. I was there in 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025 and can definitely recommend the event, at least to have experienced it once and in combination with the beautiful city, you can organize a nice weekend here. In 2023/24, the motto was „American Fest“. In 2025 it was more of a Harley-Davcidson meeting again.
Prague Harley Days Parade
The parade is one of the highlights of the event, during which hundreds of Harley-Davidson motorcycles will ride through the streets of Prague. The route of the 2026 parade leads through the middle of the impressive city of Prague. Unfortunately, I have missed the parade every time so far.
Demo rides and exhibitions
The Harley-Davidson brand will also be presenting itself in Prague. According to the organizers, Harley-Davidson will be setting up the EXPO and demonstrating the latest models. Demo Truck on site and you can take free test rides. You should register for the planned demo rides, the tours take place at the following times: Sat. + Sun. 10:00 to 17:00.

The bike show is right in the middle of it all
The bike show is in the middle of the main street between the exhibitors, you can't miss the most beautiful ones here. As is so often the case with Harley-Davidson, if you ride somewhere over the border, you get to see new bikes and styles. Here they like to ride old school, but sometimes you get to see real extreme conversions, which they are apparently still allowed to ride here. In the Czech Republic, things are still like they used to be here; not everyone in the city gets upset about the sound of a Harley. There are changes every year, and the event is often rearranged - what takes place where remains exciting until the very end.

Harley riding in Prague and the surrounding area
Prague is a beautiful city with a rich history and impressive architecture. Many streets, especially in the old town, are cobbled, which is not always ideal for motorcyclists. If you're not that experienced, I would still say that you'll get through. Although it's a city of millions, I didn't get the impression last year that people are aggressive or stressed here. Maybe you don't have to drive into every side street if you haven't been driving that long. The city is worth a visit, however, and is characterized by beautiful old buildings.

The area around Prague offers many picturesque places and viewpoints that are easy to reach by motorcycle. Here are some suggestions:
- KarlštejnThis impressive castle is located around 30 km southwest of Prague and is a popular destination for day trips. From here you have a great view of the castle and the surrounding countryside.
- Český Kras (Bohemian Karst)This region is located southwest of Prague and offers a combination of deep forests, caves and gorges that are ideal for photography.
- Sázava MonasteryLocated about 40 km south-east of Prague, this monastery offers a picturesque view of the Sázava River.
- MělníkThis charming little town lies where the Vltava and Labe rivers meet. It offers beautiful panoramas, especially from Mělník Castle.
- Okor ruinsThe ruins of Okor Castle are just a short drive from Prague and offer an impressive backdrop.
- Konopiště CastleLocated about 50 km south of Prague, this castle is surrounded by extensive gardens and a large lake, which offer many photo opportunities.
- RipaA small hill on the right bank of the Vltava, north of Prague. From here you have a great view of the river landscape.
Conclusion
The Prague Harley Days are one of the larger Harley-Davidson events in Europe. The metropolis can cope with a large number of visitors without the hotel prices exploding. It hasn't been cheap in Prague for a long time, but compared to the prices here, it's still okay. The authorities are relaxed, here is a key experience from the year before last, when there was a traffic jam at the intersection coming from the event on a very hot Saturday, the police showed up without further ado and regulated the traffic.
Checks are more for theft prevention, they often take out vans in particular, but otherwise I'm not aware of anything conspicuous. As long as you don't get on the locals' nerves, you won't get into trouble here. I still need to get to know the surrounding area better, so far I've only been to the city of Prague itself. If you can give me any good tips, just send a short email to info@harleysite.de
There are lots of new things to see here, some of them a bit crazy, but it's entertaining. We get a lot on the big stage and no less on the small one. It is a very large event area, there are stunt shows and many other nude attractions. Not to forget, of course, the many beautiful Harleys parked on the grounds, where you can stroll around for hours. Take a look at my pictures from last year in the gallery.
But what you have to say about the development of the event!
Over the years, the Prague Harley Days have not managed to build on the successful Anniversary Event 2018 in Prague. Every year it loses a little more Harley branding and becomes more and more of an American Burger Fest. If you ask the people of Prague themselves, everything is fine, the event is not overcrowded and people are very relaxed. Residents of District 7 can enter the event for free, that's how it all works and the chip payment system is designed to simplify payment.
You could also pay with local crowns, but not with euros or the card. The chip is topped up and you must keep the first receipt so that you can check how much money is left on the card at any time using the QR code on your cell phone. Credit is transferred free of charge within 3 weeks of entering your bank details.
In the following video, I explain exactly how the chip works:
What to consider when booking a hotel in Prague
Prague offers a wide range of accommodation - from centrally located hotels to charming options outside the city. Those who like to drive a bit can also find what they are looking for in the outlying areas. One example is the Pytlon Chateau Hotel near Ctěnice Castle on the border between Prague and Central Bohemia. Here you can stay in a rustic country house style, and according to the offer, parking is already included in the price.
There, for example, the parking space is included in the price according to the offer, but in the city they sometimes charge between €10 and €35 for a space in the underground garage. You should always check the „Parking options“ a little further down in the respective offer to see what it says, or clarify the price for motorcycles directly at check-in so that there are no surprises.
The currency in the Czech Republic is called Czech Krone, if you want to pay by card locally, you should make sure that you don't confuse your local currency with the euro. This can sometimes happen with these small terminals and if you don't realize it straight away, you'll be in trouble afterwards. I would recommend using a debit card (credit card) abroad, where you can load up a manageable budget.

Can I pay with the euro in Prague?
In the Czech Republic, the Czech koruna is used; you can pay in euros in some places, but you shouldn't rely on it. Payment by credit card is usually not a problem. You should be particularly careful not to enter incorrect amounts when converting payments, as there may be surprises if you enter crowns instead of euros. I would always use a prepaid card with a small limit when traveling abroad.
