Sturgis is a small town somewhere in South Dakota, home to around 6,600 Americans who enjoy the peace and quiet until once a year when everything is turned upside down! That's when one of the world's largest Harley gatherings, the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, takes place in this cult town.
Half a million bikers gather there, flocking from all over the world, many bringing their own Harleys and riding through the region and cruising along the highways.
World stars rock the stage in Sturgis!
Sturgis is the party where bands with names like „ZZ Top“ and „Lynard Skynyrd“ perform, and only the best are associated with the legendary Buffalo Chip.
Top music bands also grace the stage in the saloons, there are Harleys everywhere you look, and the surroundings invite you to go cruising. Take a break at the Colorado River, familiar from every Western movie.
Sturgis is the party that every Harley fan should have on their roadmap of special tours. According to the organizers, Sturgis Bike Week always takes place from the first Friday in August for 10 days.
