Hamburg Harley Days and the next Harley-Davidson events in 2024
A short feedback on the Hamburg Harley Days 2024 and what my next Harley-Davidson events will be that I have on the road map this month.
The next Hamburg Harley Days will take place from June 27th to 29th, 2025 . For those of us who book early, this is probably the most important piece of information. Feedback on the Hamburg Harley Days
The Hamburg Harley Days were generally good. It started a little late on Friday, but by 6 p.m. the place was well filled. Thursday with its storms certainly stopped some bikers from traveling north. But on Friday and Saturday we had the best weather in the Hanseatic city. Sunday was rather cloudy, with light rain.
Luckily, the much-anticipated rain chaos during the parade did not materialize. I was standing with two friends and we were looking at three different weather apps. Everyone hinted at the downfall. You can really forget about that – in the end it was only a light rain for a short time. The parade was on hold because of the weather forecast, the decision was only made very shortly before the start when it was clear that the announced heavy rain would not come and then it was carried out. Around 1,500 bikers came to do the tour over the Köhlbrand Bridge. The organizer was supported by the Metropolitan Chapter, which provided a corresponding number of blockers.
The bands were in demand, there was always a lot going on in front of the stages, a good music program was just as interesting as the many beautiful bikes. The football game was also broadcast on Saturday, but the weather really hit them hard.
What we didn't like so much was the ticket and wristband concept; many people drove past the checkout with their online code. You have to exchange the code for the wristband before you enter the premises. Difficult thing, because if you send them beforehand, then suddenly there are noisy copies. The best way to solve this would probably be with an app.
You could already see in the Harley Days Facebook event that there were many supposed ticket offers from private individuals. Unfortunately, it was difficult to control the spam because they were constantly posting their fake offers. There was little criticism on the subject of admission this year, as I said, only the thing with the wristbands and some people were missing the fireworks. The police were particularly out and about on Friday, they used civilian vehicles to get their potential customers, someone always gets caught, but we have seen this all more violently in the past.
Although we had very good weather on Friday and Saturday, the storms in the south and the poor forecast are probably responsible for the fact that it was well filled, but not really full all the time. Saturday was great, a lot of people who made a quick decision came by, you could tell from the traffic jam in front of the ticket booth, otherwise they would all have already had a ticket. I liked it, you always meet a lot of people and the best thing is all the bikes that we all want to see.
SWISS HARLEY DAYS 2024
My next tour is going to Switzerland this week for the Swiss Harley Days in Lugano. The event only takes place every two years and I have never been there before, but now there is a full program for it. From July 5th to 7th, 2024, several thousand Harley bikers are expected in this beautiful Swiss town. For the first time, Harley-Davidson is presenting the “Andermatt Freedom Ride” on July 4th in Andermatt.
The event on Piazza Gottardo in front of the Radisson Blu marks the start of the Swiss Harley Days 2024. Another highlight is the shared ride over the Gotthard to Lugano on July 5th - the official “ride in” for the Swiss Harley Days 2024. BIKE DAYS WILLINGEN
From July 11th to 14th, 2024 there will be a lot going on in Willingen, the new organizers are the shooting stars of the scene this year. Born out of necessity, such solidarity has developed in the small town in the Sauerland to keep the event, which was canceled by its predecessors, alive. I was there to get an impression of the new organizers. I'm sure I won't burn my fingers if I put in a good word for you. The event will be better than before!
They pulled everything together more and even thought about the European Championship final on Sunday. Because they are going into extra time and are showing the finale on the big screen on Sunday at the event site. So no one has to miss out on the game, public viewing makes it possible. It's best to go to extra time yourself and stay until Monday.
Warsteiner Balloon Glow will create the right atmosphere in the evening. There are many exhibitors and Harley-Davidson supports the event through its authorized Harley-Davidson dealers Pfeiffer and MotoMaxx. So there's talk that the whole place will be branded with Harley-Davidson, I'm excited to see what's to come. There are still limited VIP park tickets available for €12.
According to my information, those responsible at Harley-Davidson will take a look around there to get an impression of the event and whether the event will be fully included in the official Harley-Davidson world next year. For such a small place, that would be a great recognition, and Harley-Davidson already supports an unusual amount.
In any case, I have Willingen on my road map and will be there, I'm excited to see what's going on there.

Harley Days Dresden
The Harley Days Dresden will take place again from July 26th to 28th, 2024. The beautiful, or perhaps even the most beautiful, city in the east of the Republic awaits us bikers again on the large open-air area, at the Rinne. There is an extensive program and so far I have always seen many very unusual and very beautiful Harleys there.
The custom bike show is one of the absolute highlights, but the biggest event is the big Harley-Davidson parade on Sunday, which runs through the middle of Dresden. Here, too, such a large parade does not work without the help of members of the chapter. The HOG Chapter Dresden works together with the authorities to ensure that everything runs smoothly. Not to be forgotten is the beautiful surroundings of Dresden. There is a lot to experience this month. Remember, just working doesn't make you happy either. Do something, even if it's just a few days away from everyday life. This way you often recharge your batteries for your tasks than if you stay trapped in your everyday life!
