Budapest Open Road Days 2024 motorcycle festival in Budapest
The Budapest Open Road Days 2024 , a comprehensive motorcycle, family and music festival, will be held in Budapest from June 27th to 29th at the Műegyetem Quay, between the Petőfi Bridge and the Szabadság Bridge. This event offers panoramic views of Budapest and attracts motorcycle enthusiasts with a variety of motorcycles. Organized by the Open Road Riders Community in partnership with leading motorcycle brands such as Harley-Davidson , Honda, BMW Motorrad, Yamaha, Suzuki and the Piaggio Group, the festival promises an exciting program.
The festival includes 13 venues and 4 music stages, including performances by Tankcsapda, one of the most popular Hungarian rock bands celebrating their 35th anniversary, as well as the supergroup Godfater with Hungarian guitar legend Tibor Tátrai. Other musical highlights include the rockabilly band Mystery Gang and a blues concert by Little G Weevil and KC Brown.
The Budapest Open Road Days 2024 also offers a spectacular biker program, including two joint motorcycle rides: one at Lake Balaton at the start of the festival and a large Budapest motorcycle parade at the end. In the “All Motor Tent” visitors will find a motor show with all the major brands and can find out about new products. Additionally, there are motorcycle and BMX stunt shows, a Harley-Davidson history exhibition , free test rides and a custom bike show.
The festival area on the banks of the Danube, the Plázs, offers a relaxed view of the Danube and Budapest with deck chairs and hammocks, accompanied by a DJ. At night, visitors can enjoy the panorama and atmosphere with cocktails and lantern light.
