My personal route to Medulin
I was already in Medulin in advance to look at the area and bring you the first impressions. In my new Motor Vlog on YouTube I show the direct route from Ljubljana (Slovenia) to Medulin. Then I drove back to the north along the Croatian west coast - with a short detour to Portorož (Slovenia) and from there to the Faaker See.

Maut: Croatian highways are subject to toll, motorcycles pay a reduced tariff.
Speed limits:
In town: 50 km/h
Outside: 90 km/h
Fast roads: 110 km/h
Cars: 130 km/h
Helmet obligation: applies to the driver and front passenger.
Warning vest: must be carried, but can only be worn in an emergency.
Refueling: Credit cards work almost everywhere, but smaller petrol stations in rural areas can only accept cash.
My personal tip is, if you are already here, simply plan more time and continue south for a few days. The route from Medulin to Zadar, for example, turns out to be one of the most beautiful motorcycle routes in Europe from Rijeka at the latest from Rijeka.
