FH-DCE Super Rally 2024 Czech Republic

Every year in a different place in Europe is the motto of the FH-DCE Super Rally organizers. The last party in Greece was in 2023 and the Super Rally 2024 will take place in Pasohlávky, Czech Republic, at Pentecost 2024.

What awaits you at the Super Rally

Traditionally, the old school faction tends to go to the Super Rally, which is also the nice thing about this event. Lots of old Harleys that drive up on their own, it will be a somewhat harder trip, but that also paints the picture of the visitors.

The entry price to the 2024 event site is expected to be around €85 (not yet known). The FH-DCE Super Rally ® is an association of Harley-Davidson clubs from Europe and runs under the name Federation Harley-Davidson Clubs Europe, the origin goes back to the 60s/70s.

There's no fancy dress at the Super Rally; they're still trying to keep tradition alive, which is why many people sleep in tents on the event grounds or next to their Harleys. A large party tent with a decent rock program, enough drinks and a regional breakfast the next morning and everyone is happy. They only allow Harley-Davidson motorcycles onto the event site, and they also list Indian on the site, which I think is very unusual.

Traveling by motorcycle in the Czech Republic:

The currency here is the Czech crown, but you can pay by card almost everywhere in the country. It is not yet known how they will regulate this at the Super Rally, but at the Prague Harley Days they will solve this with a chip.

In the Czech Republic they charge tolls, but motorcycle bikes don't need the ticket. First aid kits have to be with you, I would recommend a small set with a high-visibility vest for your bag. The helmet should comply with ECE standard 22. Well, who would have thought that if you still travel with light bulbs, you should definitely have a light bulb box in your luggage.

In general, I haven't had any problems while riding my Harley in the Czech Republic and haven't heard anything yet. In Prague in particular, they closed the streets to bikers because otherwise they wouldn't have been able to get from the event site without a traffic jam. I saw that by chance when a patrol stopped, they're obviously very relaxed there.
