Wheels and Wake is a very special event, it's not particularly big, it's probably not supposed to be, but packed with plenty of entertainment it's an insider tip.
There are actually two events, on Friday the flat track races take place on the MSC Moorwinkelsdamm flat track race track from 4:30 p.m.
Really with a paddock and a wide variety of bikes, from Harley-Davidson to anything, everything is there. The races are really a show, they run until the evening and then become a floodlit race, it's cool to have seen that. The supply of beer and sausage is guaranteed, entry costs €10. As of 09/2022
The event takes place at the Beach Club Nethen. A really cool event, not too big and endless fun. What particularly struck me about this event was the audience, everyone was wearing cool clothes, there was also a bit of a rockabilly style.
The main attraction is the 1/32 mile race, when two competitors compete on the beach sand to be the first to pass the light barrier. I've rarely had so much fun, wild bikes are at the start, some of them spend the summer really thinking about how they can best win, you get the impression.
There are a few exhibitors and of course there is plenty of supplies. I would recommend Wheels and Wake, including the flat track race, as an insider tip.
