Ewald Suck – The first and oldest Harley-Davidson dealer has passed away.

On May 18, 2017, Germany's oldest Harley-Davidson dealer, Ewald Suck from Hamburg, passed away. He was a second-generation Harley-Davidson dealer based in Hamburg until the end of 2012.

His father, Georg Suck, imported the first Harley-Davidson models to Germany in 1910 and began selling them, which led to the establishment of the first Harley-Davidson dealership in Germany in Hamburg in 1924.

After his father's death, Ewald Suck ran the store on Amsinckstraße in Hamburg together with his wife from 1961 onwards. The Suck family ran the business in Hamburg for 88 years until they terminated their contract with the Harley-Davidson Company at the end of 2012.

He spent his whole life surrounded by the sound of loud V2 engines, and now he has quietly passed away.
